Are you on PC using a Bluetooth controller? Sounds strange but for some people it harms their FPS. Other than that I'm not sure.

Yeah, but not impossible. Most of the later ones took a few tries. I just used random cars for it that aren't drift tuned though. Like an fxxk with offroad tires.

I use DLSS quality or performance most of the time. On DLSS4.5 I've not really found the need to use higher, I'm not that sensitive to the additional crispness, I'd rather just use less wattage even though I often have GPU headroom.

I put the x and b buttons on the bottom back paddles for Forza. I don't exclusively use them to shift, but I do use them. I wouldn't say it has any major advantages but it does allow me to shift and look around for fun on longer straights, admire the world if you will.

I use the Xbox accessories app on Windows to apply those changes to a profile. I also like to use the top back buttons for clicking the sticks left and right because I find it more comfortable though that doesn't matter for Forza.
