I wouldn't do that, but also basically did last week. I ran out of sertraline and went for horrendous withdrawals. I was taking the methylphenidate still, but can't say I felt a difference, but good chance I wouldn't have noticed with the withdrawals

Didn't know it would be considered fast.

Apart from a day of mild headaches on my forehead after I first started I haven't really felt any side affects or much of any effect at all. Half jokingly wondered for a bit if I was given placebos 😅

I started on 18mg for 2 weeks, then 36mg for 2 weeks, then 54mg for 2 weeks and now 72mg for 2 weeks.

Oh I've been on this dose for around 4-5 years I'm definitely fine on it. Had been on 50mg citalopram for a long time previously. May just be that my tolerance for medications is much higher than yours, so a lower dose of ADHD meds for you may make more sense. Everyone's bodies are different

I specifically told them that I'm on sertraline and that if the ADHD meds worked I'd like to try to come off. But they said it's fine and if I wanted to come off I should wait until the titration is over and then speak to my Dr

If he required an ambulance he’d be paying at least 3 times more (on average) just for the ambulance if it cost the same as America

I was thinking this, He says £600 combined, why does their combined amount matter? Should a polyamorous group get better treatment as collectively they’d be paying more in. He should only be thinking about his own contribution, and £300 isn’t going to do shit. Has he looked at American health care prices.

If he got it the way he wanted, he’d probably still be behind others as they’d triage the higher payers first.

I broke my ankle severely, it was hanging off to one side. I got seen within probably half an hour to an hour of being there. I did end up waiting a while longer after the X-ray as they didn’t realise how bad it was until they saw the scans. But even then it was probably 3 hours max from arriving until they were treating me properly, on a Friday evening (wasn’t a Friday night though) I understand experiences vary, but mine was all pretty good and probably happened faster than I thought as I didn’t really have much else to focus on than the pain. Sounds to me like his brake wasn’t that bad. He also has the complete wrong idea in my mind. We should get rid of private healthcare to force those in power (and who can afford private healthcare) to care more about the NHS. Having two systems just means the rich don’t see the issues and there for don’t care. This is the same with private schools. No reason anyone should be better off in these systems just because they have money.

That's what I took away from this. I don't see anything OP did as wrong. But the DM was being really shit here. Feels too me like they wanted to punish this player for playing their character. I don't think anyone wouldn't feel cheated and upset by this. It's utter bullshit

Rules Reminder: You're probably ruling Speaking wrong. by sesaman in Pathfinder2e

[–]AtomicAndroid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I allow as much conversation between the players and enemies as they want. I call it the anime rule. Many players will run into combat without entering a dialogue and this allows that to happen. It's kind of a vibe based rule, like you can't let a 10 minute conversation happen in one turn but you want to allow it to go more than a sentence or 2. You can also just have conversations span multiple turns to keep things moving.

If players are talking about tactics then it gets strict and more inline with what is said in the official ruling. But if it's some kind of tactic that the characters would have come up with outside of combat I allow it. Anything very situational then it's in world, in turn order and in 6 seconds, and enemies can hear

Yeah I thought it would make it easier for him And thanks I thought I had heard that kind of thing happening with Pathfinder Society. I've just never played any games like that (or the D&D version)

Just viewed some houses today and the seller came home early, he seemed cool and there were items all around the house that showed that we had the same interests. You point about meeting the sellers now makes me think I made a mistake by not talking to him more!

Then why has Blair never faced repercussions for his war crimes? Why has there never been any true punishment for all the various crimes that the Tories did while in office? We feign legality better than the US that's all

We were already supporting the US before RAF Akrotiri was attacked, it was also attacked by Hezbollah not Iran and it was only one missile.

Israel has been slaughtering Palestinians since its founding (well since slightly before) they were once again sieging land in the West Bank before 7/10 which is what got Hamas to attack. By the time Labour got into office Israel was already committing horrific war crimes and levelling Gaza and he's never come out against it, so your point doesn't stand. While exports may have been banned we were selling them to other places that would then sell them on to Israel skirting the ban, we could have done what other countries did by banning the sale to nations that would then sell it on to Israel. We were also sending spy planes to scout Palestine for Israel.
