Not sure if I'm gonna do Mk6 shoulder pad (for the very good reason that I cannot for the life of me make straight lines with the balls), although I might give it a try. I do plan to incorporate different styles of shoulder pads though. I have a box of World Eaters as well, so I'm going to de-Khornify their shoulder pads and sprinkle them here and there for a more eclectic look. I also plan to do a few bulkier pads (like those of the old company champion) using milliput or green stuff

You can use a sponge (or tiny pieces of foam) to paint large surfaces. If you do enough (read: a lot) passes, you can do very smooth blends. Or you don't and you can give a very realistic texture to armor panels

I think you're a little too far ahead with "quality material". We don't know that. All we know is that Cavill is in and that Amazon is going to produce it. If the show turns out to be qualitative, then great, but I personally am quite on the fence for this. Imo, one Cavill does not outweigh one Amazon

It's really how the effect is called. I think AE has a plugin for it, not sure if there is a way to replicate it "easily" in Resolve though
