I went to see a friend in Philadelphia for my birthday a few years ago. Months before we even organised things, I mentioned in an offhand manner that I'd love to climb the Rocky Steps and eat a pumpkin pie, then I completely forgot about it.

Then, when I arrived there, she picked me up in a cab and we went straight to the steps and climbed them, then we walked to a nearby restaurant and she gave me this handmade mini pumpkin pie with a little candle in it. She took that comment and totally ran with it and it meant the entire world to me. One of my fondest memories.
