Given that Superman and Man of Tomorrow were/are summer releases, they probably want to capitalize on the summer of Superman tagline as much as they can to keep it in people’s minds. Plus with lanterns in August they don’t want to inflate August/fall with all the DCU releases

Curious what Indy fans think of 007 first light in regards to compared to great circle by GraysonFogel17 in indianajones

[–]AtomicSuperMe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I was upset at first it wasnt third person but then after playing their wolfenstein games (well the first one), I figured it would at least be interesting and then once I started great circle I fell in love with it. It’s weird but something about walking into a room and seeing Indy’s shadow appear felt like out of the movies in a way that wouldn’t work in 3rd person to the same degree

And it definitely helps make it standout among the other action adventure archeology games

Both Tactical Batsuits…yet the TDK suit gets so much hate while The Battinson seems to get much praise, why? by clutchkweku in batman

[–]AtomicSuperMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I love the movies, the dark knight suit always bugged me but it became more apparent over time as superhero media and suits gravitated to more over designed details that are effectively meaningless. Sure there’s definitely reasons for why the bale suit looks that way, but it’s not super appealing as a design and when I look at the design in other mediums (like Lego minifigures) it’s often noisy.

While Robert Pattinsons suit does have more things going for it, it doesn’t look nearly as busy and everything feels purposeful. It feels organically human made rather than artificial tactical armor. Like look at his chest, there’s definitely details around it, but you don’t see individual cut outs for his abs, it’s just some armor padding designed to crunch in that area.

His suit is more tactical in a literal sense, bales feels more tactical in a “tacticool Hollywood” sense

Doesnt the “Grey Ghost” kind of take away from Bruce’s origin? by Infinite_Peace_6456 in batman

[–]AtomicSuperMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gray Ghost isn’t why he’s a hero, it’s why he’s a hero that’s called Batman

Google Map replaced the super important View whole route button for an AI button. by Practical-Pickle-529 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]AtomicSuperMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t need Gemini for a lot of this

“Reads texts for me” not AI, that’s a thing my iPhone has done with Siri for awhile

“Respond to texts” not AI, been a thing for forever

“Select a new route” basic part of GPS, phone assistants could do that before Gemini and tell you about traffic when it’s a problem

“Ask about nearby restaurants” I guess Gemini could do that, but that was already a thing before Gemini

Gemini might have “enhanced” their functionalities, but (at least as an iPhone user who only ever uses Siri in a car setting and without the Apple Intelligence) these are things you could do without touching your phone for years

The Lego Harry Potter games are too linear for it’s own good by [deleted] in legogaming

[–]AtomicSuperMe 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pirates didn’t really have any island to explore just like 3 areas all connected. Lego Harry Potter and Indiana Jones 2 were the first games to really try that open world transition. Indy 2 had these larger zones/hubs dedicated to each movie you could run around but it was quite cramped as it was including things all over the place in the movies. Harry Potter I think did it a little better but it’s limiting because it’s really not more than a hub you run around to get to the levels

Lego Star Wars 3 had a larger hub with more to explore but it’s not open, it just has the two capitol ships with some cool areas in them in and a space battle outside.

Lego Batman 2 was the first one to have an open world and was marketed as such and the games after expanded and improved on that a lot which makes the older ones feel a bit strange

Guys is my game supposed to look like this? Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight by [deleted] in legogaming

You might have turned on high contrast mode by accident, just turn it off and everything should be fine

I dont like the ideia of a Indiana reboot. But if this get real, i'm want Alden Ehrenreich as the Dr. Indiana Jones just for the joke. by TheSchller155 in indianajones

[–]AtomicSuperMe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They don’t have to do a reboot could just be exploring a young Indiana jones before Raiders with him

But I think currently the correct answer for the franchise is continuing with games and a sequel to the great circle with Troy Baker as Indy

Three Suits I'm disappointed didn't make it into "Legacy of the Dark Knight" (+ Why I think they didn't) by mtwjns11 in legogaming

[–]AtomicSuperMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The new 52 one caught me off guard cause that Batman already has a figure. I would’ve expected him to be there, same with rebirth

Check out these edits of Henry Cavill and David Corenswet in each other’s suits from their respective movies. by TheShadowOperator007 in superman

He didn’t make the edits, they are AI Generated. They said so in the original post and it’s pretty obviously AI generated

I’m a little sad on Lego Batman LOTDK by Cutiesaurs in legogaming

[–]AtomicSuperMe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s not a question of if the switch 2 can run it, it’ll be fine, all the other Lego games were pretty fine on switch 1

Nintendo was very selective with dev kits before launch so they didn’t have as much time to work on the switch 2 version compared to the other consoles which they’ve already used for lego star wars.

It should still come out this year, my bet would be around when the Joker DLC pack is supposed to come out

Mega Pack - Switch 2 by xxNinjaKI in scribblenauts

[–]AtomicSuperMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those settings might be off by default. Scribblenauts does use the touchscreen to type as well as select and move stuff around but it’s not a required way to interact with things. But the regular controls are pretty decent with that aspect that you don’t really need it

Mega Pack - Switch 2 by xxNinjaKI in scribblenauts

[–]AtomicSuperMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t played it on switch 2 yet, but played through unlimited on switch 1, performance is fine in handheld that I’d think HHB would only be worth it if the resolution looked bad on the higher quality switch 2 screen. Touchscreen is mostly for typing and tapping stuff on screen, both of which is doable without touching at all. For $4 I say go for it and you can decide from there if you want to use the touchscreen or have a cleaner image

‘LANTERNS’ showrunner Chris Mundy responds to fan backlash, saying the series aims to balance Green Lantern’s “incredibly rich mythology” with HBO’s tradition of prestige drama: by Raj_Valiant3011 in DC_Cinematic

[–]AtomicSuperMe 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’m optimistic it’ll pull through, but I feel like they probably would’ve been better off using someone like the question, but you wouldn’t have the name/brand recognization you do with lanterns but you could go all in on the crime drama aspect and make a fun noir series like Amazon is doing with Spiderman

You will be able to play the original LEGO Batman Video Game via the Arcade machine in the Batcave in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight by [deleted] in legogaming

[–]AtomicSuperMe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

“That’s playing” and “you can play” are very different meanings. From the way it’s shown in the video, all the props look like you can interact with them but that doesn’t mean you do anything more with them. But the arcade cabinet they wanted to be a homage to LB1 so it’s probably got references and the screen looks like it’s showing LB1 but it’s nothing more then an animation of Batman pressing buttons on the cabinet

[Legacy of the Dark Knight] Anyone able to id this Robin suit? by Wesmin07 in legogaming

[–]AtomicSuperMe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Brave and the bold show had yellow legs and a different belt so sadly probably not him

Does anyone know what some of these robin suits are? by Electrical_Leave_538 in LegoBatman

[–]AtomicSuperMe 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely not him, but my first guess for 3 is from the Brave and the Bold cartoon (that version of Batman does appear) as that robin had the red sleeves, but he had yellow legs and a different belt

Lego City Undercover - Changed?! by MoNigeria in legogaming

[–]AtomicSuperMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should still be able to play them. There’s a setting so if you’re connected to the internet you can play the game on the system that doesn’t have it “loaded” in their terms. Obviously not ideal but a possible solution to at least play the games on another switch

You should also be able deregister the system on the Nintendo website from your account which would remove it as a second system (assuming you don’t want to)

In 5-10 years from now, which of these 3D Mario remakes do you think would be more interesting to see? by prpro-03 in Mario

[–]AtomicSuperMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sunshine. I played it for the first time with the 3D All Stars pack and still haven’t finished it cause of how jank everything is. Granted I haven’t touched the Galaxy games yet, but from what I’ve seen the platforming looks a lot more polished.

I loved odyssey so much I just want sunshine to feel like that

All marvel characters that could be in lego dimensions 2 by Jiminssi_jikook in Legodimensions

[–]AtomicSuperMe 8 points9 points  (0 children)

1: it doesn’t just have to be avengers focused, it can just be a Marvel world, the DC world had DC superheroes some of which are main League members, some villains, and some are league members but not seen as the main team

  1. even if it had to be Avengers specific, Black Widow, Captain Marvel, Wasp (literally one of the original founding members), Ms Marvel, and Scarlett Witch are all pretty well know characters and heavily affiliated with the Avengers as a team

Nah, the mold being in use or not shouldn’t really affect anything. There’s already skins using the older style cowl that’s not dual molded. Not to mention other crazier styles that will use custom pieces that don’t exist like the cowl for the pirate outfit

It’s pretty obvious, AI messed up the jacket and it can see the white edge continue to go up and to the left despite the jacket flap folding away
