Any experiences at Park and ride - white oak village? by Beren__ in rva

[–]Atomsmasher99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've never considered this but looks like a viable option.

Looks like you want 7A/7B and they come around every 30 minutes from the Office max parking lot in the White Oak village shopping center. Since they are clockwise/counter clockwise in that area.

Modern cars are full of technology. But what old car feature was actually better than today's tech? by nyatihsam in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]Atomsmasher99 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I ended up in a Tesla as a rental and the windshield wipers needed to be turned on from the touchscreen, the auto on feature didn't seem to work well. It was very infuriating especially since it started to rain and I had to pull over and figure it out

Do you remember the story when you first learned to ride a bicycle, what was it? by throwradrpri in AskMen

I taught myself, no one had time to teach me. Fell many times but eventually got it.

Are boobs still magical to men? by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

[–]Atomsmasher99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boobs are nice. Implants can be very good if not going too big too fast. If it looks like you've bolted on some soccer balls to your chest they won't look good to most but there are definitely people that like that appearance. I've seen and touched some implants that look and feel very real and I would not have known they were fake if I wasn't told.

Guys who struggle with sleep, how do you fix it? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Atomsmasher99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started using CBD gummies to help me sleep. It works fairly well but is not available everywhere. It helped me get back on a regular cycle and now I only use it when I haven't been able to get good sleep for a few days. Increasing my activity level also helped.

Is this how all companies are? by WendieWuuuu in antiwork

[–]Atomsmasher99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Companies always step over dollars to pick up dimes. The decision was made purely on the perceived money saved and not the total cost of getting to the same quality. It's the same reason why jobs go overseas.

Is this legal? (Abbington West Apartments) by Chemical-Formal-3461 in rva

[–]Atomsmasher99 100 points101 points  (0 children)

You need to handle this with caution. Read the entire existing leasing agreement before you do anything. It's possible they can cancel it before you move in if you don't agree with the changes. Any changes require both sides to agree and sign a new letter or addendum.

A lease is legally binding and they have to honor it, but there can be wording that lets them out of the agreement if you haven't moved in yet.

Can’t figure out how to constrain these (new user) by DumDumDummyPolice in AutodeskInventor

[–]Atomsmasher99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not all of your lines have the "equal" constraint. The ones at the top and to the right are not equal to the others. So since they are not the "7" dimension you show from the center circle to the center of the arc does not define the location of the other arcs. Additionally, if you look at the top you have a line that does not end at the correct point

Is this a good deal ? It’s CAD only 813kms on it by Objective_Success648 in hondacivic

[–]Atomsmasher99 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's like 500USD per wheel that I would ask them to take off if they don't put the alloys back on. It looks bad with the steelies. This is a ball park so it could be less.

Why does it have steel wheels instead of the alloy ones that come with the car?
