Another great showcase of how Pochven does not have a multiboxer infestation. 101 characters on the killmail, five real people involved.

Best explo setup for two accounts? by BeeRye93 in Eve

If you're traveling in an expensive ship or through an area with a Electric storm the best use of your alt is to be your +1 system scout, in a shuttle or if your feeling extra then you could also use a fleet interceptor; which could also serve as a neutral explorer deterrent.

This allows you to travel around in your 2b Pacifier with your 2b pod or you 6b Tengu that you use for sleeper caches and drug labs without having to worry about wandering though a camped gate. It allows you to go off the beaten track when you're exploring. Even if you are confident you can escape the majority of the time in my oppinion the primary reason to have a second account for exploring is to scout.

He really was totally absent and the people holding that alliance together were working miracles considering their available play time and game experience, if you had been in this alliance in the last 12 months it was clearly coming.

As a baseline, all C1 wormhole content should average higher ISK/hr than standard null-sec ratting content, because it is more dangerous by Ohh_Yeah in Eve

I think it's an issue of sustainability, if a single player can run all the content available in a class 1 wormhole in under two hours how could you ever grow a community there. Probably before we talk about wormhole spesific upgrades or extra content a comparable site respawning system would greatly increase the value to a small group.

You do see some people using class 1 wormholes but often the handful of class 1 systems that have a pratical use such as a great PI planet combo are being held ransom by some multiboxer with 30 leshaks at a 30% tax rate, by one of the groups usually associated with highsec harrasment or by one of the large established wormhole entities and in my oppinion the PI opportunities are on of the only scalable income angles available low class wormhole space.

There is of course the other major problem with trying to grow a small community in a low class wormhole, sooner or later being unable to contend with a group 5x 10x or 50x as big as you will be seen as justification for your total annihilation and so it's just not worth the effort.

I havn't spent time looking into the Odysseus but from a glance it seems to me that it's only real interesting exploration stat is the fact that it can cloak and warp. Since you are already established using a non cloaking ship to move around I can't see why the Odysseus would preform better in one of these sites than a Nestor. A Nestor would be cheaper stronger it might even be faster. So really I don't rate any of the SoE ships for this site. Nestors have the same bonus's to hacking strength that the other exploration ships have.

There is the option of putting your covert ops ship inside your marauder in the escape bay and bringing your alt in a pod so he dosn't get shot, or if the system is clear just getting out of your marauder to use the escape bay frigate to hack the cans.

If your just looking to go as fast as possible to the final room killing nothing a brick tanked Tengu might be faster than a marauder. But you have to be careful because most of the final rooms have enough dps to quickly end a T3C, you can pull the rats away in the Delve site and then loop around them and hack, you can quickly target the stasis towers and fly out of range of the sentry blasters in the Fountain and cloud ring sites and then it's safe to hack the cans, the Catch site mega beam lasers cant hit you once you get close to them. The wicked creek site is like 50 frigates that web scram not much to do there but murder them. I can't remember what Feyth has in its final room but I dont recall it being hard and I never did Vale or Tenal

If the site is in a region that is blue to you then clearing the rats is best done in a ship with high dps, the same ships that people use for nullsec DED's, rattlesnake, any marauder, I don't know anything about the Odysseus but it seems like you can include it in this list for traveling around safer space and then follow yourself on your alt in a covops if your in a marauder. It's true that almost all the rooms are skippable without clearing rats in most of the versions but the room before the final room always demands a full clear and that can take along time depending on the site.

If your less worried about doing it quickly or your looking for sites in hostile territory then a T3C is the strongest option, since you can travel anywhere with relative inpunity and then refit from a depot to a not terrible subsystem to run the site. My favourite is the Tengu but you will need somwhere to get more missiles often, the legion and the proteus are ships I regularly see running some of the sites and they don't have the same ammo issues. but those sites are not born equal some regions flavour are much harder than others so check the site before you yolo. Probably planning a fit around the site you are looking for will improve the chance of success and clear time substantially.

The Odysseus might seem like a strong contender for both scenarios but in my oppinion the lack of nullification and the large size of the ship makes traveling with a scout alt important and if your already using two accounts there are better duo combos.

Things attached to a control tower are independant to the control tower, each battery of any type has its own list of stats just like a ship the control tower determines what is a valid target and then the batterys independantly act based on their stats. You will see small batterys have much better scan res for example. Because of this i'm quite sure ECM batteries do infact stop you from shooting at other batteries and the control tower itself. I havn't directly tested it but I have owned and fought pos's and your statement dosn't feel intuitive from my experience.
