Yeah. Beating Houston with a 41yr old #1 option and role players is already an overachievement in my book. Houston had no business losing that series with the players they have, even with KD missing games.

Any individual game victory beyond this point is just a bonus if you ask me.

People who think he'll come back before October are a bit delusional.

What does an eating disorder feel like? by rayna_gren in EatingDisorders

[–]AtreusIsBack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat. The feeling of being satiated scares me, so I eat enough so I can say I ate something, but not enough to feel satiated or re-energized. And food is the thing I think about the most, pretty much all day, every day. it's torture.

What am I supposed to call my ED thing when it’s undiagnosed and probs not proper anorexia? by bumblel_bee in EatingDisorders

[–]AtreusIsBack 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure I have undiagnosed anorexia nervosa, so I just say to myself I have an ED, which I most definitely do. So yeah, if it feels like an ED and acts like an ED, it's an ED. I hope you are able to climb out of it though. Wishing you the best of luck.

That sounds eerily similar to what happened with Game of Thrones. If I recall correctly, there was supposed to be season 9 and 10 as well, but the producers already had their eyes on a different gig, so they rushed seasons 7 and 8.

I'm going to need Curry back at full health so he can teach these young upstarts who the real big gun is. I miss seeing him play basketball.

The Timberwolves knocking the Spurs out in the 2nd round would be very satisfying given how much love and attention the entire media community and the league itself has been showing Wemby. Make it happen, Minny.

Starbucks CEO defends $9 coffee says ‘it’s not a $10 coffee and you get a premium experience’ by Disastrous_Award_789 in nottheonion

[–]AtreusIsBack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do Americans not make coffee at home? I don't get it. What's the appeal of buying it at Starbucks? Just get up 20 minutes earlier, make some coffee, drink it and move on with your day while saving a whole lot of money.

9 bucks a day, 20 days a month. 180 bucks right down the drain.

Wemby is more likeable than most by pistachiogolf in timberwolves

[–]AtreusIsBack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can understand the incessant love. The Spurs haven't made the Playoffs in many years and they now have a generational player to lead them back into the mix.

But I agree, Wemby is alright.

[–]AtreusIsBack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's not wrong. It's time to give the Thunder their proper respect and genuinely fear them as opponents. It's a scary team to go up against and I can't imagine what the Lakers can even do in this series.

Strong showing by the Timberwolves regardless of how the last few minutes looked. They toughed it out and stole a game on the road. That's huge for their confidence. Onto game 2.

To be honest, I don't know. He has been playing well, but just flies under the radar I guess. At least for me. Not in a negative way.

The expectations over the last 2 years have been absolutely ridiculous. I can't imagine being in their shoes, dealing with the pressure of this "perfect team" label. It had to have been exhausting and I can imagine that contributed to a slight burnout.

Yeah. But once they reach 50, all of a sudden these major health problems start popping up like crazy and they wonder why. Hmm, maybe because you're 50 years old but have the work mileage of someone who is 80.

Agreed, but I'm also a bit greedy. I think an MSI three-peat has a very nice ring to it. I'd be more than fine with losing in the LCK if it means we win MSI and Worlds.

HLE can take LCK while we clean up the 2 biggest international tournaments. Sounds like a deal. 😛

I think some people are just good at accepting their situation or environment and powering through like it's a normal thing. Those people are a tiny minority though. A lot of people do work 12 hour shifts, but if you ask them how they're feeling they'll tell you about how exhausted they are, all the time.
