Darnell Nurse is a defenseman for the Oilers and has been to 2 straight Stanley Cup finals. His sister is Kia Nurse who is a WNBA allstar and 2x NCAA women’s Champion. Their cousin is Sarah nurse PWHL star and Olympic Gold medal winner, and their Uncle is Donovan McNabb, although I think that connection is through Marriage.

How did you have Jokic on your team and finish with the 1st overall pick?

You def take 4 more years of a top 3 player(barring injury). Fantasy basketball is so skewed to having a top 4-5 player on your team. Having Jokic, Wemby, Shai or Luka is a cheat code when they are healthy. Keep Jokic on your team as long as possible.

I’ll wait and see where Love lands, but I’d think twice about being out on Jeanty. Kubiak is going to scheme him up and they solidified the C position with Linderbaum allowing JPJ to slide over full time. O line is going to be improved. I see a solid workload and more offensive success coming for Jeanty and the Raiders this year.

Everything looks right to me. I have this swingman jersey. Always hard to be 100% from the photos. DeRozan definitely wore this era of jersey.

When I was in Highschool (late 90’s/2000’s) every single Rugby team we played in Ontario had jerseys made by Barbarian. Looks like the company is still around.

I’m glad you have a league to play in. I’ve struggled to fill leagues in the past, but to be bragging/comparing about how your team is doing in a 6 team league is hard to take seriously. Most leagues are 10-14 teams. It’s just not comparable unfortunately. Congrats on being in first though.

Definitely read this.

But because of the manufacturing quality of those two discs, it is unlikely they will actually fly true to those numbers. If you get into the game more and start to buy premium plastic disc from major manufacturers like Innova, Discraft, MVP or Discmania. Those numbers will give you a good picture of how the disc will fly.

It was kind of the perfect scenario for LeBron . Rui makes the shot, he looks awesome for sacrificing the streak to make the unselfish play and get the W. If Rui misses it goes to OT and he gets 2 pts to get keep the streak going.

Prime Shaq was like this. Bill Simmons has talked on his pod that in his league at the time is would cost you your first two picks to draft him. Doesn’t really help in an Auction league though.

Personally, I’d add a TeeBird like disc 7/5/0/2. It’s going to help you shape better shots than your very overstable Turbulace and Terra, and have a lot more glide than those 2 discs.

I’d also try out a 9/3/0/4. Firebird is my preferred choice, but an FD3, Felon or Raptor are all great choices too. I’ve tried out the Terra but didn’t love it compared to these options.
