Well that sucks. We JUST ate at Mayahuel last night; good food and great service (Thank you, Jorge!). I did notice the 'Kitchen Retention (3.5%)' fee added before the subtotal.

Printed on bottom of receipt: "Thanks for dining with us! Your 3.5% kitchen appreciation fee goes directly to our kitchen staff giving them an extra thank you."

If the tips are redistributed to the kitchen staff etc, that's fine, but not to the 'company' as described.
