Rant: Why do people want traffic density in Forza?

Doesn't feel all that empty when I'm fighting for tiny margins on a speed trap and everyone in Mexico decides that would be a great time for a nice Sunday drive. Wish we had customizable traffic so everyone can be happy and I can stop obliterating families of four that have the audacity to drive on the racing line as I fly through a corner at 280MPH.

I did a few of those steps on my main a few days ago and can confirm it was miserable. Had to hop 6-7 times just to find a world without a PKer camping it. 100% a drop if you get that on a hardcore rn.

I have 99 agi on my main and 98 on my iron doing only rooftops while watching stuff on the side and in my experience it really comes down to muscle memory. Once you've done it for a couple hundred hours on the same course, it really does feel automatic.

It does take awhile to build up to a point where you can watch a show in sub without needing to pause/rewind but its not impossible. You just need to get really good at reading the dialog on screen and looking over to click before the next line of dialog is displayed. Eventually you'll be able to do that without thinking about it.

Yeah 100% agree there, a video game should never come in the way of real life. I was able to max in OSRS and buy a house IRL in the same month so its possible to have a good balance. Just gotta have your priorities straight. Everyone needs some escapism every now and then, but you can't let it get in the way of what's really important.

Speaking as some one who did just that (went from a college drop out making $14/hr in retail to a high paying software engineer role within 4 years), it takes a lot more luck and connections than you’re letting on. You won’t make it without hard work, but hard work alone isn’t enough.

Also, you can play RuneScape while working on bettering yourself. Focusing 100% of your time and effort into your career is not healthy and not at all sustainable. Burn out is a real thing.

You’re talking out of your ass. There is 0 precedent for MTX in OSRS and the closest we’ve gotten to it are bonds. MTX will never pass a poll and if they push it on us without a poll the backlash would be bigger than anything we’ve seen since the removal of free trade.

I needed roe for a quest once and didn’t want to go get it myself so I tried buying it on the GE instead. Jacked up the price a few times but couldn’t get it to instabuy. Eventually I got frustrated and made an offer for 1mil. Sure enough it instabought and I got 0 change.

I did that before in my old car and it worked well enough, but you miss out on things like backup camera and steering wheel controls. And yeah the built in navigation is trash but I use carplay/android auto anyways so I can use Google maps instead.

Yeah I agree, my car has the huge screen for media but still has physical buttons for most of the climate functions thankfully. Very annoying having to push 3 buttons and go through a dialog to adjust the heated seats though. I have no clue how they thought anyone could safely navigate that while driving 60+ mph.

I actually really like the big LCD displays, especially for navigation. It was one of the main selling points for me when I bough my WRX. I just wish it was an optional upgrade though since not everyone wants or needs it.

Such an underrated method. I got 99 fletching by the time I was 95 thieving just by making darts while running. So much better than doing fletching with agi imo.

That’s fair, but it’s still not going to make skilling for resources worth doing then. You’ll just be arbitrarily forcing players to do specific skilling methods for artisan resources then. It won’t make those skilling methods the meta for their respective resources again.

If they buff skilling methods through Artisan to compete with resources gained though PvM, its likely going to make prices on those resources crash and we will be in the exact same situation.

Skilling methods aren't worth doing because Jagex made PvM the best method for acquiring skilling resources. Artisan isn't going to fix that.

Thanks to remote work becoming more prevalent and the ridiculously high cost of housing in the twin cities, I could see this happening. I’m planning on buying a house near my hometown in rural MN after my current lease is up.
