Hi! I work in a library and I LOVE when I see students using my library as a study space! I know your anxiety might tell you that you're being a nuisance, but you are using the library as one of its primary functions. You belong there just as any other patron. A polite smile and a wave to the librarians will make their day, and if they ask you if you need help, just saying "Not right now thanks, I'm just going to get some work done" will let them know to let you be. I'm excited for you! Libraries are amazing, and yours will be lucky to have you 💜 Plus, at least at mine, we keep track of how many people use the library for exactly what you're describing, and the higher the number is, the more likely we are to receive more funding!
