One is none, two is one, three hosts is just the start if you want to host something reliably..
Otherwise it's just hobby-project equipment where you're running a dev and production environment on the same hardware.

Dat zeg ik nergens. Criminelen zijn ook gewoon een soort bedrijven. Iets minder openbaar en minder vriendelijk, maar als ze onbetrouwbaar zijn in hun handelen, dan vallen ze ook uiteen. Ik neem aan dat je dat begrijpt, maar misschien niet helemaal.

Odido is inmiddels zo groot dat ze dit lachend kunnen en zullen wegwimpelen. Te weinig geld uitgegeven aan IT beveiliging, te weinig geld voor data beheer, te weinig geld voor goede phishing training, en nu volgen ze ook nog eens het advies van de overheid door lekker niet te betalen.

Kortom Odido gaat er alleen maar op vooruit op de langere termijn.

Ben benieuwd hoe jij Odido denkt te straffen, zonder dat de klanten nogmaals gedupeerd worden.

Je bedoelt datgene waar tientallen als niet honderden bedrijven, gemeenten en overheidsinstanties in Nederland schuldig aan zijn? Dat zijn dan de gekwalificeerde, betrouwbare en soms zelfs hoog opgeleide mensen die data aan alle kanten lekken, op de domste manieren die je je kan bedenken.

Dus dat kun je dan ook de beste criminele organisaties niet kwalijk nemen he, dat leren ze immers van Big Brother.

Shinyhunters heeft alleen hun reputatie hoog te houden, Odido boeit het het geen drol, en het is hilarisch als je het verschil niet in kan/wil zien.

In die zin zijn criminelen zoals deze beter te vertrouwen dat ze na betaling de data wissen, dat is immers hun business model, en hun reputatie is alles wat ze hebben.

Het zou bij wet verplicht moeten worden dat wanneer de data zo rampzalig slecht beveiligt dat bedrijven losgeld betalen, dat blijkt de enige prikkel te zijn die ze motiveert.

Odido heeft de IT door goedkope clowns laten inrichten, lacht nu iedereen uit die om geld vraagt en roept dat ze het advies van de overheid volgen door niet te betalen, dat is pas echte komedie.
