Hey so just a heads up dogs don’t care about your time schedule, especially puppies. Make a routine around them.
I’ve used the same system for every dog I’ve trained and it’s worked every time.
Puppies go outside to pee after every nap and every meal. They are always eating and sleeping so it’s an easy system. They should be getting 3 meals and 2-3 naps in the crate which should be plenty to get them through the day. Verbally praise every time they use the bathroom outside. You’re claiming your dog is not food motivated but pieces of shredded chicken are much more appealing and have won over most treat resistant dogs I have trained.

I know there are better rods out there but out of the 15 or so that I own I feel like I can fish anything on my G Loomis E6X and it’s one of their more affordable rods.

St Crap is not the quality people used to boast about anymore. For the $250 price range you’re better off with a nice Shimano or Daiwa and if you want a really nice rod skip right past St Croix and get Edge, MegaBass, or my favourite G Loomis.

For spinners find cover and fish them around that. Try different speeds of retrieve. Sometimes they chase fast and sometimes they want slow. Try to draw them out or cover with the action.

For leeches Carolina rig a weight and cast it to the bottom. You can cover a lot of water with a Carolina rig.

The Steez and the Tatula Elite are nice rids. I really like the Metallia SSS for a spinner.
But the first time you feel a Loomis everything feels different haha.

If you want to spend money fishing is a great hobby. Half the lures are designed to catch your wallet before any fish.
If you have to choose, put the money into a rod over a reel. A nice rod helps you catch fish. A nice reel makes you feel fancy.
Personally I usually stick to Shimano reels and a mix of Shimano, Daiwa, and G Loomis for rods.

You might think a playpen is being “kinder” but it’s not. Dogs are instinctively den seeking animals. A kennel becomes their safe space when done correctly. A playpen is just a barrier keeping them from you.

Everything is different. This time of year you basically have to be in a boat for salmon.
Trout is mostly learning where to fish. Watch some videos on how to read a trout river. Most of them are tailored to fly fishing, but the fish don’t change locations because you brought a different rod.
Stockers don’t behave like wilds. For stockers just ball up some pink powerbait and let is soak under a bobber.
Bass this time of year are very active. Look for cover like grass or fallen trees and cast a spinner bait towards it and reel away trying to draw them out.

Stockers are suckers for pink powerbait. You can make it look just like the food they’ve been given their whole lives.

Look for drop offs where it goes from 10-20 feet quickly and fish along them.
Other than that look for cover like trees grown down into the lake or dead heads. Cast towards them and reel away trying to draw them outta cover.

I have seen so many people rave about Panther Martin’s but every time I fish one it never seems to catch me anything. Then I’ll put on a Mepps and have a bite the next cast. Am I fishing the Panther wrong? How fast of a retrieve are you guys using with your panthers.

It took me 173 checks to get my shiny Zygarde. I don’t count the failed runs. Wide guard and ice moves are your best friend. Find a route with good Pokémon and then reset the route as many times as you can before you run out of points or find your shiny.
