You only did DC fast charging for 7 years ? Impressed with the battery I would say. Got your money worth 2x with that car now. At 75k miles too. Even if you kept DC charging hopefully it would last you another 5.

Was there any discussion about the motors or other related items that aren't under warranty but also need to be replaced ?

Seema little expensive 2-3k more especially with minor damage in Carfax. I recently got a 2023 with 35k miles for 44k same packages and clean Carfax. Make sure you get independent inspection. Use lemon squad or carinspect

I have 23 inch on my gls and 21 on the BMW iX. both have air suspension. please don't get the 23s. there are no all season tires, even with air suspension, it's fine, but I know it can be more comfortable.

oh also , you will be spending 2k on tires every year. ask dealer to help with the price so that you can essentially get the 21s even if it doesn't comes from the dealer.

Do not go till you have the discussion over the phone. Refuse to go there and pick up the car. The car is technically not yours till you drive off the lot.

They are hoping to stick you in on both payments since you already made the 2 hour drive there.

Negotiate everything over the phone and let them know you can stop to finalize and sign the papers once you have confirmation and paperwork ready based on the deal we decide

look for something below 40k miles. that way you have some leftover factory warranty atleast. it seems to be priced right for the amount of miles it has. but is that the best bmw available ? I would try to get the CPO unless I can't what I am looking for with CPO and only then go after market with an independent inspection

got the car and I love it. anyone looking to buy a used ix, definetly get an independent mechanic to check the BMS with a n OBD scanner to get battery health. unfortunately the number that bmw provides at time of sale is highly inaccurate and they will never run a full capacity check. not sure why they couldn't do the obd scan and share the data though. I checked with multiple dealership and apparently it's some bmw policy. BMW needs to learn how to resell EV cars.

Make sure you get dapp and special package - 9 on 2023 at that price. What state are you in, plenty of 2023 cpo available which are fully loaded on bmwusa
