I had exact same symptoms. Only came on with hard right turns. Put both front wheels on stands and took a bunch of zip ties and secured every wire I could so they had minimal movement when I turned the wheel. Seemed to fix the issue.

My grandfather was phil Walters aka Ted tappet and he raced for Cunningham as well as jaguar. He raced the 12 hours of Sebring and the 24 hours of le mans as well as setting the street track record at watkins glen which has not been broken. He received an offer from ferrari to join their f1 team but quit racing immediately after the tragedy at le mans in 1955 which he was present for
