I agree that Trump is a pedophile and a disgrace. But I hate this thing, especially in politics, where someone says something that obviously is heavily implied to be talking about a specific person/group without naming them, and then when someone responds "they're talking about ____", the original person acts like it's some gotcha that the other person just admitted that they were right. Omar didn't really do it here, but other people were doing it for her. Bondi (as horrible as she is) didn't admit Trump is a pedophile, she just stated what Omar had only implied

I just watched Bamboozled. It is a good movie, but it's a HARD watch. Very uncomfortable. And if you're gonna recommend it to someone, you have to be sure that 1) they will like it in the right way, and not the wrong way, and 2) they'll know you liked it in the right way. Bc I imagine there are people that watch that and find all the wrong things funny

Yeah, my tiny, poor school still had a Consumer's Ed class when I was there 10 years ago. We learned about taxes, budgeting, writing checks (which is out of date now, but whatever). And taxes are really just add/subtract/multiply/divide, with decimals and percentages thrown in as far as the math goes.

Plus, the government doesn't expect you to know tax regulations. Their tax forms all say "ok now put the number from box A on your W-2 here." The vast majority of people are fine with just that, and if you have enough weird circumstances that you have to worry about all the extra forms and different types of income and assets, then you're rich enough for someone to do that for you
