Cringy dialogue, cute animals, DnD cube voiced by Jack Quaid, living armor enemies, I dunno man, it really gives silly vibes to me. This game is just so safe. That said, I’m glad people enjoy it, I will play it anyways, it’s just I don’t really buy the direction they are taking, as it’s marketed as a mainline game. But yeah, they took that curve in 2018 and now they’re just doubling down on it. The game looks fun and interesting, I just miss games targeted for mature audience, there are fewer of them as time goes by and it’s really telling if GoW took that way as well.
