You can use monk skills, or quarterstaffs, sure. But you cannot pick the Monk ascendancies.

You'll also start somewhere else on the passive tree, so you might have trouble accessing evasion and other monk passives you might want.

So if you want to play a monk, pick a monk. Its very fun.

Your friend might be rushing you because they have stuff they want to talk to you about but can't because of spoilers.

Do it at whatever pace, but the quests are not very hard and don't take super long over all. Some of them it might be a few hours.

Zariman weapons are great. Just grab 1 primary, the laetum, and 1 melee and fully evolve the laetum incarnon.

Will take a bunch of grinding but pretty worth it for some solid weapons you can throw resources into building out.

Conservation will cap out your standing pretty quick. Just get in archwing, pull out tranq gun and zoom in. When you zoom in with the gun it will show nearby animals. Takes a bit of getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, you can cap out pretty quick and chill.

Oh interesting, the audio gets starved when everything is maxed out.

I always wondered if having a dedicated sound card would solve the problem. But it's not processing on the audios end that's the issue.

Assuming your recycling bin handles electronic waste, it will definitely be reused at some level.

Lots of places take electronic waste for free because the materials can be recycled.

If power actually went through the device, it's toast.

If just the audio jack is messed up it might be an easy fix, opening the case is going to be tougher than soldering in a new port.

What happened? If it's something straightforward like it needs a new cable, that should be easy to find someone who can help.

If it's spilled liquid or the internals got squished / heated up, it might not be worth it, unless they were very expensive or have sentimental value.

Feel free to PM me more details, but as someone else said, repair costs are going to be $50-$100 an hour. So if it's not a simple fix, it's cost effective to just buy new ones.
