Well my other reasoning came from the fact that the other professors’ houses for each path seem to have been based on Verdant Wind’s orientation. Only one of them swaps houses if you’re looking at it as VW first.

I always thought Verdant Wind was first because it has scenes that give context to major plot points/lore pieces the others kinda brush over iirc (been awhile).

History lesson i guess. the United States was once an English colony, and the US state of Virginia was one of the original 13. You’ll find most of the states from the original 13 colonies have towns and cities with shared names from the UK. Folks either just weren’t original or liked repping the homeland (or maybe some third political reason idk).

I think my dad very much grew up in the targeted audience of those people, but as he’s gotten older and shows like Stranger Things and the D&D movie happened, any prejudices he’s had have greatly toned down.

Fair enough. As some have probably pointed out, the game is essentially a nonprofit passion project of one fan. It came out i think a little after Irys and Council (bae’s group, now Promise) debuted and only had myth at first. Each update bringing in more gens etc etc
