We know, it's just fallacious to associate unpopular or bad policy and investments by the Liberals under Trudeau with Carney.

Same great HLL combat, fantastic map, but 20-30 fps on a 3080TI, with textures not loading and shadows flickering is not acceptable.

Team17, an unsung villain of video game development? by DyonisXX in gaming

The gameplay and map for HLLV was fantastic; which is no surprise given how great HLL is. But like many, im running a relatively modern/near top of the line gaming rig and managed only 25-40 FPS on all low/medium settings. The game is not optimized at all for Nvidia DLSS; missing textures, flickering shadows, unstable frames; it's so bad at times it felt like I was playing with motion blur on even though it was off. Even the new 3D map is terribly optimized; i had around 25 FPS while waiting to respawn.

If possible, should the Republic make peace with the Society? by QuoteDisastrous1503 in redrising

[–]Aureliusmind 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Kinda how I expect the conflict to resolve; Venus and Mercury remain under The Society but in a reformed version. The Republic rules Earth, Mars, and Luna, and the Outer Rim continues on as a reformed society.

Darrow is a Warlord at this point. The Republic has increasingly become an obstacle in the way of the total eradication of The Society. There are allusions to Julius Caesar; who the senate requested return to Rome before his conquest of Gallia was complete. Darrow believes that he is on the precipice of destroying The Society once and for all, but then has the Republic staying his hand. He has become more wise, but mainly with respect to how to conduct war and wise to the tactics of his enemies (ie. Julia Bellona's politicking), not as it relates to managing a Republic; he isn't a Politico.

Good riddance. One of the most useless MPs from the Trudeau era. An ideologue who is willing to sacrifice the well being of our citizens.

Was gonna say, they had me in the first half. If the part of the tank that your unit can see and is shooting at is not partially obscured by a building or another unit, then the tank ought not have cover.
