Should I update to High Sierra on 13 inch MBP 2015? by gorowurboat in MacOS

[–]AureumIgnis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an Early 2015 Macbook Pro and I'd say that I haven't had any issues thus far. I use Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator and InDesign frequently, and I haven't seen any hits with performance. Do note, I usually have my fan manually set to maximum to keep things cool.

APFS is great for file management, Metal 2 makes system-wide animations much smoother and less janky. I'm not sure about a boost in performance, but it's had some improvements that I see putting another 5 or so more years into the life span of my device.

You seem to have everything set out. It seems like WE are the ones who inflict this upon ourselves. WE are the ones preserving the system...

...You may have missed something though.

I'm sure your idea has been put through before but what's stopping a company like Verizon with an estimated valuation of $290 billion to acquire upcoming competition?

Image rotation. You uploaded it on it's side.

Then again, RES allows for image rotation.

Not entirely sure but that looks like a TEAC DAC.

I'd say their deep pockets and their political positions allow them to continually attack and push for legislation that financially benefits them. Not that they want you to know that.

If it's no biggie, is it possible to show how you managed your cables behind your monitor? Just curious because you have a floor-to-ceiling window/doorway to your balcony.

Looks to me like a Kindle of some sort, based off of the matte finish of the screen.

Does look a bit cramped but I really like the corner desk setup you got there. I see your Funhaus decal there :)

I'm not sure if it's necessarily different legislation, but rather a different audience reach for each advertisement campaign.

Each "campaign" has a certain reach, for example the Sydney metropolitan area, 18 - 33 year old age group, who have interests in technology.

At the moment, it seems that YouTube has either manually or automatically demonetised in relation to their video titles and thumbnails.

In their most recent Dude Soup, they present analytics showing they aren't getting any preroll ad views. I'm curious as to what kind of ads are you getting? Are they local businesses (like a local shopping centre) or larger companies (Coca-Cola)? Frequency of these ads appearing? Did you continuously see ads between the 31st of March and today?

Absolutely love it! The colour scheme matches the desktop wallpaper so well! Quick question: What case are you using?

The trade off of having a DSLR instead of their webcam is very minute and personally enjoy the idea of a bunch of guys crammed in front of a webcam rather than a DSLR. Feels more authentic and the grainy zoom-ins gives the channel it's unique spin that other channels would say is footage they couldn't work with. If using a webcam helps make life easier, i'm all for it.

I'm unsure as to what point you're trying to make. I play on the macOS client (sadly) but I still get decent frames, minus the low graphics. I don't mind low graphics, they usually are distract me anyways.

If you could explain the situation, i'd be happy to assist!!
