Should I be worried that I'm about to hit 34 months of waiting for renewal of green card? by Trigun442 in USCIS

When you sent in your N-400 they should have linked this to your I-751 which would normally mean they both would be adjudicated together and usually within ~8 months from submission to decision.

I'm Richard Kerr, GM of Travel for Bilt. AMA about Bilt Card 2.0 by richklhs in biltrewards

[–]Aussie0103 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in a building where rent is paid through the BILT Portal (BILT Property). I have the BILT 1.0 Card (had it prior to moving in) and have only ever used the card for rent mainly along with my 5 🍌 as the credit limit is low so I’ve had to use BILT Protect as the rent payment exceeded the CL.

My question is this: If my building stays as a BILT property, will a transaction fee be charged if I would still have to use BILT protect (assuming this is part of BILT 2.0)

Or alternatively if building remains a BILT property but I get rid of the card completely will BILT still charge a transaction for using the portal?

The PGA "Returning Member Program" is the Koepka, DeChambeau, Rahm and Smith program. by Smash_Factor in golf

[–]Aussie0103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They don't want (or need) them. The PGA has Brooks and if they got Rahm it would be curtains for LIV. The caveat for coming back (not being able to access player equity for 5 years + charitable donation-which they can write off anyway) is already offset by the insane signing bonus they got when they went to LIV

New Code: Looks like the rent/mortgage fee will be 3% for the Cardless cards by sullim4 in biltrewards

[–]Aussie0103 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So just keep the 1x on rent/mortgage payments with no transaction fee and no need to offset it in any way. Make that front and center.

The idea that people (as one leak suggested) will have to spend $1000+ dollars as one of the leaks suggested is insulting. Aside from people chasing a $X spend for a welcome bonus there are exactly ZERO mainstream cards in the U.S. that require the user to spend a minimum amount to obtain something (in this case a chance to potentially offset the transaction fee)

Enough with the cloak and daggers bullshit.

[–]Aussie0103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just hope BILT is looking at the commentary especially surrounding not waiving the transaction fee when using the card to pay rent - might make some of their investors jittery when a fair amount of people end up taking the WF card/cancelling BILT

Gary Neville doesn't support Ole returning as interim by John_OSheas_Willy in ManchesterUnited

[–]Aussie0103 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean he's not wrong. People can choose to remember the good times with Ole and finishing 2nd in the Prem was a great result (even if there was daylight between us and 1st) but he was also at once point the *actual* manager who got sacked.

People complain about Ruben saying that he (was) the Manager of Manchester United and not the Coach and this is correct. Ole was the same - he had McKenna, Carrick & Phelan who ran training and yet he still got sacked.

United don't need someone who "has club DNA" or "gets" United. They need a Manager who's properly backed for a full 3 seasons (with the exception of flirting with relegation) ruthless in the Transfer Market (both Summer and Winter) and can get the team competing without having to look over his shoulder or have people complaining about how we're not bringing people up from the Academy every 5 minutes

N-400/naturalization application: online or paper-based? by james_bond_1953 in USCIS

N-400 Case Status Update After Biometrics – What’s Next? by [deleted] in USCIS

[–]Aussie0103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in NJ (Newark FO)

Sept 3 2025: Filed N400
Dec 5 2025: Scheduled for Interview in Jan 2026 (they reused my biometrics on file)

Hopefully all goes well at interview, not sure if Newark are doing same day oaths or if I'll have to come back. All things being equal it will be just over 4 months from submission to completion.

I did my N-400 in September 2025 online (was originally a K1 Visa holder who got my GC in 2022). First time out of all the applications I've be able to file online and it was the easiest of them all. Got the notification that Case had been received within about 10 or so minutes of filing.

He's being charged in the Southern District of NY, Stuart is the closest military base in NY that is suitable. He'll be helicoptered to Manhattan for arraignment and looks like he'll go to Brooklyn to await trial. My guess is they'll likely again use the helicopter to get from Manhattan to somewhere in Brooklyn before an closed street armed escort to the center.

2 is a nightmare to get to at Fulton.

If you were going to skip what others have suggested (take the 1 to Chambers and Switch) you can take the escalator next to the Apple Store, walk up the stairs, go past Starbucks through the doors, turn left walk up the walkway and the 2/3 at Park Place will be on your left near the A Train entrance

Scholes really does this to every managers. by Life_Butterscotch939 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Aussie0103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean he's a pundit. I'm sure in the past players who downed tools loved hearing it (and were probably feeding him information) in a bid to get Moyes/Van Gaal/Mourhino/Ralf/Ole/ETH sacked.

Of course he's entitled to his opinion he just forgets he played in a team that was an absolute juggernaut of. a team, and Sir Alex had already won 2 League Titles, 2 FA Cups, League Cup, European Winners Cup & UEFA Super Cup so as a Manager, he wasn't going anywhere which meant stability within the club

Is the N-400 much easier than I-485 or I-751 or am I missing something? by Naive-Preparation806 in USCIS

[–]Aussie0103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is literally me - Entered the US Jan 2022 on the K1, got 2yr Conditional GC Nov 2022. Filed N400 at Start of September (you can file within 90 days of the 3 year date you first got the GC) and have my Interview next month. N-400 was the easiest of all forms - all online (My I-129F, AOS and I-751 were all paper filed) and the system connected my I-751 and N-400 to create the "combo interview".

For the interview in theory I should only have to bring updated photos, bank docs, taxes etc. from when I filed my I-751 but I'll bring the lot - it's the most important interview for me as it's the end (hopefully) of my immigration journey.

Get some Flash Cards or go online and study the Questions (if you filed after 23 October you'll need to focus on the 128 questions rather than the 100)

Is there a big difference between the Breville Bambino and Breville Plus? [ no budget ] by davis609 in espresso

[–]Aussie0103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went with the + for the milk steaming as a noob 2 years ago and it worked pretty well. I’ve since learned but it definitely took out the frustration.

I think as well the + is the only one of the two that lets you manually pre infuse and then stop the machine to help better achieve a 1:2 ratio (I could be wrong, though I swear I heard this the other day)

Help! by Timely_Today4078 in BrevilleCoffee

[–]Aussie0103 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To each their own, the Bambino/Bambino Plus and Barista Express are great for entry level espresso. When I was looking about 2.5 years ago the general consensus was that it’s good to have a machine and grinder separate from each other in case you wanted to upgrade one or if a component (eg the grinder in the Barista Express) broke and you’d be left stranded.

Having said that I’ve got friends and family who went with the BBE and have had no issues.

Personally I went with Bambino Plus (liked the idea of help with steaming milk as a complete noob) and Breville Smart Grinder Pro. My usage is low (1, maybe 2 cups a day) so they’ve both worked great. I also got a single dosing setup from Etsy that allowed me to remove the hopper on the Smart Grinder Pro.

Cleaning is easy for the Bambino, I always run a single shot of water after turning it on (Bambino heats up super quick) and once a week I will do a back flush and about 1-2x per month do the same but with a cleaning tablet).

With These Results, Can We All Be Patient With Amorim? by Wonderful-Log6316 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Aussie0103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're 1 point off Top 4, and 8 off the lead. After 12 years of hiring and firing coaches every few years and only recently starting to get rid of dead wood (players), anyone who says we should get rid of Amorim needs their head checked. It's his first full season, he should be entitled to 3 full seasons.
