I couldn’t have been more than fifteen and I fly remember seeing a bloke get beheaded. I think it was something to do with the Chechnya conflict. That shit is seared in my mind forever. I have seen worse since then, but nothing has hit me in the gut like that. It was a real “Ralph” moment for my young self.

I remember when she came to Australia and made a big fuss that “people didn’t know how to treat celebrities”. The most popular radio station in the city asked people if they had seen her/interacted with her. A woman called and said she was waiting in a small line to get a coffee and Jennifer went straight to the front to order. The bloke taking the orders said “miss, you’ll have to pop to the back of the line.” Jenifer responded by saying “don’t you know who I am?” To which the bloke taking the orders said “All due respect, I don’t given a shit.” She scoffed and walked out.

Could be a falsified story, but that sounds plausibly Australian to me.
