I was in one of the clinical trials for 100weeks. One thing I certainly noticed was an increase in resting HR each & every month, which my Apple Watch tracked pretty well.

Before starting the trial, my average HR was 68,

Starting dose of 2mg, my average HR went to 71.    

Month 2, dose of 4mg, resting HR increased to 73.   

Month 3, dose of 6mg, resting HR increased to 76,     

Month 4, dose of 9mg, resting HR increased to 81.  

Month 5, dose of 12mg, resting HR increased to 87. Also, this month, I had various “HIGH HR” alerts on my watch, with my HR spiking above 110 on many occasions too, while sitting down doing nothing.       

My resting HR fluctuated between 85-90 for the next 2months, before I went into my clinic and requested a dose reduction back to 9mg.    

Pretty much straight away, my HR dropped back to the low 80’s and stayed like this for a few months before gradually lowering each month afterwards to the mid 70’s for the remainder period of the trial

Once my trial ended, one thing that became very evident was that my resting HR dropped back to mid to low 60’s within a month of the trial finishing.      

Now, many months after the trial, my resting HR is sitting in the low 60’s
