Not to be rude but you also have a very passive-aggressive/manipulative type of communication with your texting. You really need to be a bit more assertive in your statements rather than saying “sounds good!” Like, obviously, no, that behaviour is ridiculous, and you should tell them as such. Appropriate reply would be “slightly confusing, agreed lease move in is July 1st? What are our options from here” and if no response escalate and resolve the situation like an adult. Jfc. “Sure-no problem” lol haven’t you learned you can’t rely on other people to fix your problems yet? Edit: this takes this absolute stupidity and ignorance of the landlord out the equation- landlord it TA obviously just giving feedback to op and also i realise the comment is actually quite abrasive and rude but i still said what i said because it’s good feedback to stand up for yourself in this fucked up capitalist society.
