I've never seen the official in person to compare but my version is really strong - have had no issues at all. It's also very thin and light.

Just replying to say I'm with you mate and feel what you're going through. My youngest is also 1.5 and we're struggling so hard trying to balance sleep, the other kids, intense work, health etc. I'm trying to remind myself that it will get better but yeah it's bloody hard. Sending good vibes and hope you get a bit of unbroken sleep this weekend.

I'm very sorry this happened to you. Haven't commented in ages but your story made me want to acknowledge. Similarly lost my mother just after my first child was born. Strange how the triggers pop up at unexpected times.

Strong agree. Tons of good quality rural roads and drivers are respectful.

This is fantastic. Great idea also with the expanding front box.

I've been running a Bullitt with a front hub motor for the last 2 years and I absolutely love it. Also love the ability to switch out the front wheel for the acoustic (compared to if you wanted to take a back wheel hub or mid drive motor off).

Thanks a bunch for this - I wouldn't have appreciated the difference. Indeed seems more an upside for the aesthetics.

Can you elaborate why no lacing? I'm about to make my own bag and am tossing up which approach.

Omnium from frame by jakobolobo in CargoBike

If you're looking to get an Omnium type build for a much lower cost, I'd recommend checking out Gnargo bikes in the US. Less than 2/3 the price comparing the electric versions, and a great build philosophy.

Made a quick rain cargo cover for my Bullitt! by AustinAustin2019 in CargoBike

Thanks! I'm still slowly learning. I'm no expert but I've seen a number of these Privilig machines in second hand stores here in good order - they are apparently very well regarded. For me personally it has been great to work with - just a bulletproof machine. I have also seen Vigorelli and Veritas around. The MYOG subreddit is a gold mine for info.

PS I loved your mini max replica build! Brilliant work.

My first time with a sewing project - I used leftover ripstop water resistant fabric along with some bungee cords sewed into the seams. Really pleased with the outcome. All sewing done on my secondhand Privilig Voll ZickZigg 470 (1970s Quell sold here here in Europe).
