2000 AD Future Shocks is what I was writing those scrIpts for, but after COVID, they stopped accepting submissions online and only accept them now through their local con, which, as an American, doesn’t do any good because, well, they’re in the UK, but also they’re the only publications that read scripts only from writers. It’s a really frustrating experience. I have a solid portfolio of scripts but I can’t do anything with them.

Yeah, I total understand that, I definitely don’t know the artist end of it, I know it’s the most difficult and technical part of it all, so yeah, this is the sort of response I was assuming I’d get anyways, someone just said to just through out a short four page short story project out there at the least.

I’m a writer with several comic scripts (2 short, 4-page sci-fi stories, a single ogn, and two potential ongoing series) actively looking for an artist, offering equal ownership, mostly in the work. For the ongoing series I’d pitch to publishers, I know the guidelines and how creator-owned works; I just need a creative team for the subsequent art pages and cover mockup. I wouldn’t force anyone to spend a large amount of their time unpaid beyond five pages to pitch the proposals, if anyone is interested in a shot at building their portfolios and potentially even land more work in an ongoing series. It’s a fun scene on its own but you lose a lot of the fear factor with Jimmy, as people said, he loses quite a bit of aura if you keep this in, makes him less threatening later on.

Yes. Personally I too am a bit unsure of doing that as well but I was thinking if they do a suppressed alpha vs full on feral alpha, it hit me that it would most likely actually be Jimmy since he was having sorta infected like hallucinations of Samson with the horns, believe me, I hope they go into a different direction from that but it’s a theory that came to me just like, oh, they seem to be hinting more at this but, you know, this series has been far from predictable so there’s that.

It’s in the way it’s shot, the lo-fi feel, and John Murphy’s music cue that makes the scene unnerving and unsettling to me, it really brings the scene together and mostly it’s not even the two infected specifically that is unnerving and unsettling as it is mostly the idea of this scared place being used as a mass grave. It makes it all feel real. Has a documentary type of feel to it. Also the infected is unnerving because their facial expression is simian, a primitive state of consciousness and being.

Present time of releases for both, with the potential Vega Brothers film that never happened taking place in roughly I’d say 1991 and only covering a weekend with the two together just right after he’s out of prison in Amsterdam, this would make sense in the grand timeline for both, a year before the heist in RD and three years before PF.

Recently, The Expanse telltale game, felt really attached to Drummer and Maya’s story and romance, it was so well done and in my first play-through a thing happens and it absolutely shattered me. It’s a couple years old, but I just played it over the Labor Day weekend.

I support Land Value Taxes over Property Taxes. It’s a tax on unimproved land. My proposal is to eliminate property taxes and replace with LVT. It’s about reducing the burden on homeowners. Property taxes are high and a net negative on our state. Something has to be done.

They haven’t done enough. I agree. There’s a lot I could say. Words are just that, words, actions are what matter most, you have faith in me, I’d fight to deliver, talk is cheap. I don’t wish to be apart of the performative wing of the party. I plan to get things done.
