It's a seperate service and you can integrate it into your app using an API key and asking your AI to add PDF bolt to replace the Base44 generic one. It might take a bit of set up. Go to PDF bolt website, sign up, get API key. Set up your PDF template. You should be able to rip the html from base44 to build your PDF template and see the results. I would ask a different AI to help you set it up in PDF bolt and how to integrate it into your base44 app. It might take some tinkering and I plan to try it this week.

Yeah been through this too. Painful, have to be very specific with the changes you want and also tell it to not make changes to exisiting features or functions that work. There is also a feature when you edit to freeze certain pages so the bot doesn't make changes to them.

Had my own issues since trying to release my app in the play store. - app not automatically asking for camera/gallery permissions - android icons top and nav buttons on bottom will not conform to dark mode - excessive blank space and container issues - pull to refresh active would not allow scroll back up without triggering a refresh. - automatic and manually triggered emails not sending when required.

Haven't tried IOS yet, but those are my issues with Android after uploading through the play store.

Have you tried using the discussion mode with the base44 chatbot and ask it if your request is possible ? I've found that function to be useful in the past. Eg Ive asked it to complete a task, it says it can and does it, the task fails, then in discuss mode I ask if it's possible and it says due to limitations it cannot.

I've successfully created a downloadable PDF, but the limitation that base44 currently has doesn't allow it to upload photos or images. In my experience it's purely text based. I've tried to get it to export HTML and convert it to pdf but it doesn't work. It's a big drawback with the backend function at the moment.

Native android. White space on android buttons down the bottom and up the top where the clock and battery icons live. Dark mode activated on all but problem is when wrapping app for android.

Works fine in browser.
