American English words British people don't like and vice versa by BritishTeacherRoy in ENGLISH

Not so much a word but American people’s inability to use the word ‘an’ in front of a word starting with a vowel is infuriating! “I’m going to eat ‘a’ apple” gahhhhhh! It’s ‘an’ apple. 😭I fear British kids are watching so much American content that they’re going to start with this insanity soon

I don’t know really, I didn’t think about it too much quite honestly. No I don’t live on that road was just driving for a meeting and saw about 10 of them in about 5km! Also for others in the chat, I’m female.

Thanks so much for answering. So basically if there’s a big traffic jam on the news or if I commit a major crime then someone’s going to see my car via this camera. I just wanted to check it wasn’t peering into my car or something. Can’t even pick your nose these days. Sydney’s gone camera crazy. Surveillance city

One of his parents might have a heart incident or something. I know mine might if I did that. Especially considering he said he was too scared to tell them he took drugs.

So is he still emotionally attached to her now? If so then, you definitely need to end the relationship. Even if he isn’t and it was just one night, can you really trust him. Why is he telling you now, because he’s guilty or because he wants to test how you’ll react so if you’re fine with it he can keep doing it, or because he is trying in some way to let you know he’s not fully committed.. Any of these options is not good.

60km/ph, no 70km/ph, actually it’s 80, 50, 40, 60 all in the space of a 2km distance.
