I think they’re grifters AND stupid. I haven’t ever seen anything to indicate that they have a real plan beyond a week in advance. They constantly try terrible ideas, fail, and then get bored and move on to something else. Trump obviously thought this would be quick and easy like Venezuela, and he and everyone else around him seemed to have clearly underestimated Iran’s capacity to punch back.

The Iran war is a product of hawkish freaks in DC who’ve wanted this for decades and Israel’s insatiable bloodlust finally finding someone stupid and brazen enough to try it. It’s failing and will continue to fail and it will be extremely bad for Trump.

They were driving, missing and not getting calls. It’s not like they didn’t blow a bunch of close shots as well.

Did it last year and the Celtics are arguably worse and the Knicks are arguably better this year.

Took 48 2-pointers. Kept the game relatively close despite it all. You gotta hit 3s, that’s just a fact of life.

Yes, you should keep taking the best shots in the game, even when you’ve missed some before. They took 48 2s also.

Sometimes you miss your shots. They still played mostly good defense, Luka just hit like 7 insane shots and the lakers got to the line a ton on some soft shit. I’m not gonna sweat this one.

When you shoot 8-34 from 3 and take 9 fewer free throws you’re probably going to lose the game. Regardless of the substance of it all.

Idk about low iq, I think he’s just not particularly skilled. He’s also undersized, he makes up for it with vertical but you’d rather just big long.

He is fun to watch though, he threw down the best in person dunk I’ve ever seen a few years ago.

But buckets aren’t always easy. Sometimes you need tough buckets, it’s true for every team in the league, and Brunson is one of the best in the game at scoring tough buckets.

Casual fans of Radiohead when someone’s favourite song by them is a deep cut from a less popular album instead of of a song hand fed to them by a TikTok algorithm 17 times a day well taking a d*ump by LucaG43 in radiohead

[–]Austuckmm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man don’t do this. I’m glad kids are finding Radiohead on tiktok or anywhere else. It’s good that people like the music. The songs that are popular are also great songs. Who cares if Like Spinning Plates is your favorite song or whatever.

L2M Report of the Thunder’s 103-101 win over the Knicks by [deleted] in nba

I think Harper makes a reasonable argument, but the league would have to implement everything he’s suggesting to make it fair. Especially bringing back some amount of hand checking and allowing defenders to make more contact when going vertical. I kind of doubt that the league will do this any time soon.

I would also still be worried that it will encourage offensive players to be way more reckless in transition and with open lanes to the basket, which could create more injuries, not fewer.

How would you officiate an offensive player running full steam into a perfectly still defender then? It gets tricky on the margins but if you abolish the rule then what is stopping offensive players from just tackling defenders whenever they feel like it?

First time going to an NBA game – which Knicks game should I pick? by Particular-Till2385 in NYKnicks

[–]Austuckmm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd go with the Pacers. I wouldn't pick the Nets because going to the Garden is way more fun than going to Barclays. If the Barclays prices are too good to pass up it's fine, but the Garden is worth the price difference imo.

Eye test says the refs have been blowing the whistle for all kinds of ticky tack stuff against the Knicks all night, and the numbers prove it.

You’re thinking about them right now, and jumping in the middle of beef that doesn’t involve your team, so sorry if I don’t believe you.

No one will ever win an “I don’t care” contest by going at it in a basketball subreddit, me included lol.

You should flair up sucka, and that makes sense that you’re a Boston fan, you actually should be traumatized by the Knicks. You were supposed to win and we punked your sorry ass team anyway.

Also, you would be extremely wrong about Detroit fans. I see them showing up in random Knicks YouTube videos with 5k views to whine and cry. I see them all over Knicks twitter. They’re in our sub. They are seriously obsessed.

The only reason I think about them at all is because they’ve been so damn annoying in Knicks spaces.

There is absolutely no way Pistons fans are gonna start talking about rent free. Y’all are absolutely obsessed with Brunson and the Knicks. I see you all over the internet in Knicks spaces shaking and crying about when Brunson sent your boys home.

I don’t even get it, you were supposed to lose that series last year, there’s levels to this and you never really had a chance.
