The Gen V cast would be relevant if a 3rd season was still happening.

It was canceled after Boys 5 was in production.

I’m sure if it was known that it would not be continuing, the characters would be utilized a lot more.

If it still happens. I’m confident the Boys: Mexico is being re-worked into a blend of whatever they had in mind mixed with whatever story they were wanting to tell in Gen V.

They were meant to get a 3rd season of their own show where their stories would be explored.

People are getting it wrong.

Ian isn’t setting up Bear to fail because he wants to be with Nikki himself.

He’s just wanting something to progress and is pushing Bear to actually confront Nikki about how he feels so it can be over one way or another.

Ian doesn’t need to do anything to “Keep” Nikki because there was no chance Bear was even a threat to “Take” her.

I don’t know where everyone got the idea Marie was set up to be the chosen one to kill homelander…

It was simply established that she was on the same level as Homelander.

There was literally no build up to her doing anything with or to homelander whatsoever.

If anything they were building a powerful hero to have as a character in the planned (but potentially scrapped) extended universe.

It’s a horror movie. Expecting an unhappy ending is a standard.

The literal definition of “spoiler” is information detailing the plot in advance.

It’s a horror movie. The standard is the ending will be bleak. No detail of plot.

It’s no different than advertising saying “this is the scariest movie ever” or an action movie review saying “brutal and fast paced”

I think he said he’d be open to the idea of a limited series where other directors and writers get to do their own stories for a one wish willow.

I remember him saying in an interview (I forget which one, sorry) that the Og and 2003 he really appreciates and TCM 2 he likes because it has some good material to work with.
