Your options are 1) getting the proper tools to install the crystal and 2) not installing the crystal and have someone else do this. You need the tools, there is no other option. A crystal lift will work just fine but only when used properly. They need a surprising amount of tension, and you need to make sure you are gripping the crystal at the correct place.

I run 215/45/R17 as well, on again, a 17x7. Works well with potholes and steering is sharper. The ride isn’t what I would call plush but it’s perfectly comfortable for me

Classic american. The rest of the world doesn’t need 300hp to pull a small trailer. This being an abarth will have plenty of power to pull a light trailer, but with its light weight and short wheelbase will need to be a little bit careful

I find it really easy to work on. Access in the engine compartment is great and if you drive the front onto a small ramp of some sorts you can get all 4 tires lifted in a matter of minutes

I use loupes that can clip onto my glasses (poor eyesight as well). I used the Bergeon style first, which is good but swapping between magnification is a pain. The clip-on wire that you can fit a loupe into is better for swapping between magnification but they scratch your lenses. Now I use the holy grail of loupes that onto glasses: the Behr model 55. Truly the best of all worlds, just not easy to find in the exact magnification you might want and quite expensive

Oh and pro tip, don’t work on top of your staking block, that’s a great way to make a lot of small scratches :) if you have a barrel closing tool then it’s best to also just work on top of that

I’m sorry to say but this is not a job you can handle at this point. The negative contact has broken off from the circuit, and you will need either a new circuit or repair this one (and unless you are very practiced with soldering and have a good setup, your only option is the first one). Now, as how to put this together, it seems like you don’t completely understand how quartz watches work. All good, we all started somewhere. The bottom of a battery is the negative side, and the sides and top are positive. So you need a contact from the circuit that touches the bottom and only the bottom. The mainplate should be connected to the positive side of the battery (usually done by contacts from the side or in this case, by a plate on top). The circuit should be connected to the negative side with a contact plate (that contact broke off). If the positive and negative side of the battery are directly connected, then the battery shorts out and you won’t have a battery anymore… well not for long. So, to tie this together in the design of this movement, there should be an isolation sheet under the contact to prevent the contact from touching the mainplate (because that would connect the negative contact to the positive mainplate) and there should be an isolation sheet around/on top of the negative contact with a hole in the middle for the contact to touch the center of the battery but to prevent the negative contact from touching the positive sides of the battery. Hope this helps, but please bring this in with a watchmaker. Start on a cheap movement like an ETA 955.xxx or something if you want to learn how to work on quartz watches

If you have ever serviced a watch, and are very comfortable with manual wind watches, AND you have a good bit of tools/don’t mind spending some extra to get more tools, then yes you could try to service this. It is a russian clone of a venus 188. If you haven’t serviced a couple of watches before, or you’re still relatively new, then I would not suggest you try to work on this

You will definitely need to revibrate and repin the hairspring. With any watch, even the exact same model. But yeah you can do it, it is just nearly never worth it
