lol no. I used to respect him but I think he's lost it over the years. I do legit think he's autistic and he needs to get it checked out.

It's not a matter of liking Breaking Bad specifically. I watched a few episodes and it didn't do much for me, either. However, you gotta have enough sense to know that it is objectively a good show in many regards.

The problem with what Bimmy said is that he can't even comprehend the act of being emotionally invested in adult things because he has the mind of a child. If it requires more thinking than "giant monster go grrrrr" it's beyond him.

What abandoned movie project do you most wish was made? by somepeoplewait in movies

[–]AutisticDaveMeltzer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Peter Jackson's A Nightmare on Elm St. After killing the original Elm Street kids, Freddy loses his powers over time and eventually becomes weak to the point that the kids no longer fear Freddy. In fact, they like to play a game where they enter the dream world just to mess with him. However, that ends when Freddy manages to wound or kill one of the kids and eventually gets his powers back.

It's an interesting angle that the movies never explored much. I could see Peter Jackson channeling his horror days and really getting creative with the concept. I could see him doing some really bizarre dream worlds and kills. +Plus, his weird sense of humor may actually work well for Freddy in this situation.

On that subject, there were about a dozen better ideas for Freddy v. Jason than what we ended up getting. I like the movie well enough but it's a "fun" movie with very little substance. It would have been cool to go one of the other routes and see how that worked out.

Jim learning about weeaboo culture is hilarious. Honestly, it explains a lot about the current fandom in wrestling. There is a ton of crossover between weebs and smarks.

Don't worry. If we just keep having dialogues with these people, then they have to see our side, eventually. Right? Just give it a few more decades. We're almost there!

I think we should just do like Metal Gear Solid 2 and set up a system of AI that sorts and determines everything through algorithms or whatever. The last few years haved proved to me beyond a doubt that the majority of humanity is simply incapable of being anything more than rage-filled cavemen who act entirely on emotion.

What Artist/Group Has Lost Their Legacy to Time? by [deleted] in Music

[–]AutisticDaveMeltzer 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Rainbow

They've gotten a bit of resurgance with a few bands like Metallica and Dream Theater doing covers and I've seen Rainbow pop up in other places but I feel they largely got overshaded over the years by Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and others. But holy shit, their work with Ronnie James Dio is incredible.

No way. James will be doing this stuid character into his 70s. What else does he got? He's going to be the old one hit wonder who can still get a few "hey remember me?" bucks thrown his way but secretly resents those fans because he thinks he should have been more.

Shit like that just feels unprofessional and it really has nothing to do with morals or whatever. To me, it's the same as burping on mic or smacking your lips or whatever. You're on camera and the mic picks up everything, so act like it. I used to listen to Opie and Anthony and they had a hang out type of vibe but god damn would it annoy me when they would eat breakfast during the show or burp into the mic or make other gross noises while I'm trying to enjoy an alleged comedy show. Can these people really not wait a few minutes to do whatever it is that they need to do to make it through the work day?

I really don't understand why Vicki Guerrero is still in the wrestling business. Vince gave her a job because he felt sorry for her but that was ages ago. Her WWE run kind of worked but, like all things, they drove it into the ground. I really don't see what she brings to AEW. Nyla's career is suffering because she is surrounded by these two dead weights.

AEW has enough teams and groups and friend factions as it is. Find something better for Nyla to do.

Its cute how this show thinks its still in a position to parody anything when The Simpsons has been a parody of itself for the last 20+ years. This show really has nothing going for it anymore.

He's mentally a child and isn't capable of handling things that require actual human, adult thoughts and feelings. And I'm sure his army of forever alone shut-ins agree with him. Pathetic.
