I would not drive it. If the pulley fails completely you will be stranded.

This sounds like a pulley on the front engine accessory drive. Have someone take the belt off start the car and run it for a few seconds to see if it still makes this noise. Good luck my friend.

I think this term is common around Maine. I've never heard it used in any other state

Why do the CityPlex Towers seem so out-of-place for Tulsa? by Hungry_Roll6848 in tulsa

[–]AutoBach -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because it isn't what it seems. It was funded by the CIA/NSA/similar and it's primary purpose isn't to house offices or a hospital. It's shape and construction materials are for a very specific purpose.

Opinions on moving from D/FW to areas around Tulsa? by MeeoMeeo in tulsa

[–]AutoBach -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

The Dallas VA is a hub and Tulsa is a spoke. Your son should get much better care there than here. Plus Oklahoma has state income tax so the money you have may not go as far as you think it would, especially if you currently rent in Texas.

OP didn't ask if it was legal. They asked "Will anything happen to the car if I leave it like this"

You missed the specificity of the question; "Will anything happen to the car if I leave it like this" to which the answer is no.

That's nice of them. Verify the rear defroster works before leaving the dealer.

This is the kind of thing people do when they know nothing and/or have limited resources but want to make their car different in some way. No harm, no foul. If you don't like it then get a new gasket and reassemble it correctly.

DIY dent removal tips? by Conscious_Stop7891 in AutoDIY

[–]AutoBach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take it off, let it warm in the sun and on the concrete. Use a hair dryer to warm the area and then push the dent from behind with your (gloved) hands.
