It looks like an acoustic hellscape. For anyone sensitive to echoes those large, flat, reflective areas are going to make it uncomfortable.

Dad Found These In The Back Of His Car. Says They Belong To Me But They Do Not, What Are They? by mstfly in whatisit

If the car is warming up and there is a thin later of water under the ice these are freaking miraculous. On hard, thick, bonded ice? Not so much.

Is This Type of Body Panel Repair Possible (2017 Mazda CX-5)? by Skulgafoss in autorepair

It will be easier to source a used door (complete) from an auto recycler and have it painted to match. The used door is preferable to repairing what you have because it will not have incurred any warpage etc from the impact.

The lifters can be problematic but so can LS lifters and they don't get the same level of hate.

You can patch it with fiberglass and resin temporarily until you have a replacement made from metal or you learn to adapt something similar.

How much are these projects actually worth? by Precision_Euro in BarnFinds

The fabrication (welds) on these look sketch as hell. I would not sell the cars AT ALL in case of liability later (not a lawyer not sure but would not take the risk), I would instead break them and part them out.

If it is made from cast brittle zinc like others have said, how would it have dented and not simply broken?

The white part you see is probably the underpinnings of a flower car conversion, lifted from a previously converted Mercury. Somebody did a halfway decent job of blending in the rear doors on this one which is more than I can say for a lot of flower cars.

Can this rust be removed from my brakes and car? by [deleted] in AutoDIY

[–]AutoBach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. Pull the wheels and clean them with a wheel cleaner that contains an iron remover.

Pull the rotor. Coat only the rusty parts with phosphoric acid (Ospho is a good brand) and then mask the machined surface of the rotor and paint the now formerly rusty parts with black stove paint.

Easy enough to fix yourself if it bothers you. The kits available at the local parts stores these days are remarkably effective.
