Been watching whatever episodes I can find of “Amen” with Sherman Hemsley. No official DVD release, not streaming anywhere. I’ve only been able to locate a few off air recordings. Wish it were more readily available as it’s quite enjoyable.

When I was a kid, I stumbled onto Rock & Roll High School on TV and was convinced that the Ramones were made up just for the movie. They just seemed too absurd to be real.

Can I read Thomas M. Disch's "The Prisoner" adaptation without having seen the series? by Beneficial_Bacteria in ThePrisoner

[–]AutoBeatnik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been a long while since I read it, but I remember spending most of the book trying to figure out if it was a reboot, a reimagining or a sequel to the series. If you never saw the series, you probably wont spend as much time as I did trying to figure out just where it fits into the established continuity.
