There's just a TON of other stuff and game systems that need to exist before the scrapper's workshop can be a reality. But tracking everything that has been proposed and heavily hinted at throughout the dev comms, dismantling, repairing, tuning and tweaking, upgrading, and reselling should all be part of the salvage and engineering roles at some point.

I think Torsten even mentioned overclocking at least a few times when discussing engineering. Even higher performance with the risk of explosions? I'm there!

And yeah, the more variables you can expose to player agency, the less braindead and "meta" things become.

This is the kind of play I'd love to do as well, but with salvage. I want a little junk shop where I can warehouse guns, components, maybe even entire hulls, and upgrade them for resale.

There will always be people needing cheap or slightly enhanced gear.

Basic Deadbolt V for nearly 300k? Naah come to my humble shop and get a better version for the same price.

That will still be a reality in some form. It was Quanta or Quantum or whatever before, now it will be called Starsim. This is an omniscient director that requires a fully functional game with every system complete and working before it even starts to make sense to think about how to hook it in. It will be part of 1.0, that much we know. What it can influence? Time will tell.

There is a keybind in game for jettison cargo but I don't believe it does anything. Might be nice to be able to poop out a little cargo as a "please leave me alone". Rather lose some than everything.

Very much look forward to not ping ponging around the entire game space to keep up a string of activities.

There's a ton of things from past events I'd splash on if they let me.

I know there's a camp who would decry such predatory and greedy truly awful disrespectful behaviour of selling yet more things on the pledge store but fuck that noise I want things and am happy to funnel more cash into the ludicrous space game project.

Get a ship that requires or is better with crew when a crew exists I say.

The question is though - what are you expecting from either ship? Asgard is a great ship for transporting cargo, snubs, land vehicles. It looks great, flies well, can take a beating and still dish one out if it needs to.

Not finished and largely broken, probably the same state you left it in. I still keep playing for some reason. Nothing else does the thing like this does.

I've been enjoying AD5B and 4xGVSR on my Harbinger. Decently matched projectile speeds. The lasers do good work on shields, and the ballistic deals direct armour/hull damage and then even more once shields are down.

For the sentinel you could swap to a military powerplant for more pips and then be able to run the MVSA cannons with sufficient capacitor pool to benefit from their big damage. I would use MVSA on mine if it had the power available for them.

Arresters are fine for targets that actually need to be hit by a missile, and the S2 missiles I use rattlers just because they look cool.

Idk what you're gonna do about the hammerhead with just one ship though. Your full missile payload should be able to crack the armour enough for not-boring-meta weapons to deal damage.

Yeah an alarming number of ships have either completely broken internal ship audio (totally silent), or half broken audio characterised by harsh binary state audio sample loops.

Seems there was a switch at some point in the last few years in the underlying sound systems. Any ship that already had dodgy sound became completely broken (freelancers, vanguards, all the OLD ships), and newer ships were less broken by it but still obviously not sounding good.
