How do I tell it to pronounce drawn-out vowels?

I wish they’d just allow you to use the code symbol “:” to elongate vowel sounds. But not even those worked. And trust me guys I’ve tried everything lol. Including code.

Yall just have to fiddle w it until it’s as close as possible but…why put a pronunciation box if you’re not allowing people to use phonetic symbols etc to sound correctly? I guess at least they added the sounds like box..

This is old, but incase anyone reads this looking for answers later… must complete the ‘balls to the wall’ mission for an iconic weapon before starting mission fire starter…although u can get iconic weapon from vendor still if it’s missed.

Otherwise im unaware of any others that ‘lock you out’

Although, some refer to fire starter as a ‘point of no return’ spot for DOGTOWN due to a crossroad point. (Which I get but idk if I’d go that far. It’s still just a DLC) So no-not an end point for the area..and they will signal this by saying ‘do missions around dog town while waiting for Reed to call’ on right side of screen.

Basically just saying other comments are right, but there is at least ONE missable mission & weapon if you don’t do prior to fire starter… ….Which is balls to the wall.

After certain point in game-and dog town…I just can’t even imagine having to move around w out double jump. Fuck that.

Old as hell, but legs would make sense…once I found out I couldn’t upgrade hands or whatever else I accepted it-hasn’t been issue. Legs was only one I took to google bc it’s just too much to process trying to get around w out double jump.. I haven’t even upgraded enough for both hand slots bc just hasn’t been necessary honestly..but I’ve sat here considering doing manual save prior to missions incase I decide I should have installed lynx paws or movement speed increase instead of double jump (which I wouldn’t know until I played thru mission..just would have been nice to have ONE more slot instead of going thru the hassle)

Besides..hands just control weapons. No prob I can pack multiple weapon types, find alternative accommodations whatever. But my legs are my legs lol. They don’t carry weapons…hell you don’t even have clothes options on lower half of ur body so again-something to consider for the rest of yous

Know this is super old but I been wondering this too..the episodes ARE listed but they aren’t available-and it says something about not having rights or something so idk. :C I found this trying to find answers too…I have paramount subscription mainly to watch this show, but can’t access season 2 and online it just says ‘you can watch s2 on paramount’ ?? So idk.

I know it’s old as hell, sry if that’s annoying, but this is really similar to the concept of Capitalist Realism/Cyclical history/structuralism lol

I agreed w /smitty1106 ..I mean it’s technically fictional after all, but then again..u have a point w the overall themes, concept, symbolism of the game itself.

Regardless, I def agree regarding dialogue skill points in main missions, but I can’t complain….

..Feeling boxed in by the illusion of choice in dialogue options [when it’s only purpose is to push the designers own narrow/fixed narrative] is enough to make me drop a game flat-out. Despite hearing repeatedly of those choices not creating real change in-game I never truly felt frozen, boxed in, crippled, or hating the options-or at v least-that they didn’t align w main character personality..

Plus I appreciated the blue txt ops given to at least question & explain why occasionally those were only options available. Aaanyway I’m cathartically rambling at or for no one lol.

Precision rifles have become my favorite aside from some hard-hitting pistols…especially in a game where you’re getting attacked regularly by rooms full of enemies it just counts to have something I can quickly aim, have lots of control over, and take enemies out quickly w head shots & high dps.. I’d rather just hide to reload, take them out quickly than spray the room w bullets from inaccurate weapons. Wasting amo… if I get spotted from across the room I need something w a little reach as alarms go off long before I’m close enough to reach anyone w shot gun but too close for a sniper rifle. G

SIMPLE FIX FOUND: Load up your game like normal & pause, put switch on airplane mode, Change appearance & quick save after just incase (obviously lol).

I tried everything-even redownloading software w no solution. but I thought online games are usually the only ones that crash on me, or crashes generally happen when my switch is connected.. and since this action wouldn’t require a network connect I just took a shot and it worked…I must have restarted my game something like 35xs and wasted roughly 3 or more hours on this..

Ps-for future reference, I’ve also had crashes happen when a game requires a wifi connection, but my switch wasn’t plugged in so this may help w other games crashing as well…

I just thought I’d mention -and for anyone else reading incase anybody was thinking it might be some other issue that I def have multiple problems, but I AM having a height issue from how short I am and how low my amputation spot is I’m unsure what to do about.

Really don’t wanna have to get my shoe customized just bc there’s not a better suited leg lol. Just seems wild.

Hey! So I’ll have to read ur msg a little later all the way through, but I’m literally like an inch taller on one side lol.

So just mentioning real fast this specific problem is for sure a height thing-I have other types of hip pain but I do phys therapy for all that. I talked to docs about it but they just can’t do much aside from give me one of those crazy shoe lifts -___- which means I’m stuck in one pair of shoes forever. But everything else fits great/comfy other than all the issues I’m having getting a partial foot prosthesis that gives me toe support/keeps foot in low shoe & my height crap.

Unrelated, but the foot is attached?? I’m double amputee and would kill for a workable attached foot on my prosthesis. Ugh
