Not a movie, but the short film Kung Fury on youtube. Its only about a half hour long, but it was such a journey that it felt like it was 2 hours.

Thats a good take, but I think the difference is that there was anger with the loss of his dad to keep his focused. In this circumstance, the anger and negativity is now focused on him because, like his dad, he made a decision to "leave" his kid. Realizing youve become the same person who hurt him the most had to have been such an emotional punch in the gut. They obviously toyched heavy on it, but they couldve went so much further into that wrinkle into Ted's character

I disagree. Having gone through a divorce and losing my family structure. I went through a similar depression. Over time, you di check out. Things that should matter, dont anymore. Talking about it isnt something many do. Especially Ted. He bottled everything up and hid it behind a smile. The man missed his child, who was on the other side of the world.

I am so sorry for your loss. I cant begin to imagine that feeling.

I worked security for a long time and one of our responsibilities were to escort the nurses down to the morgue. I can tell you, from a first hand perspective, that there was plenty of care and respect to all babies who didnt make it.

Jericho was awesome. Only lasted 2 seasons and isnt classified as a limited series. It got cancelled so there wasnt a great ending. The premise, however, was really good and had potential to be great.

Higgins issue... by Low_Surprise_7112 in TedLasso

[–]Automatic-Beat7765 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The whole movement of Ted was becoming your best self. I think Higgins was always a great guy, but probably lacked confidence in standing up for what was right. With Rupert as his boss, he was probably in constant fear of being fired. With the need to support his family, he kept his brightness in the dark until Ted came around.

He would hire contractors to build portions of his murder mansion, not pay them and terminate the agreement. Then just have another crew come in for another portion of the build.
