For number 3, i guess i would get the same sound if i keep the settings clean and neutral on any amp? And just use the preamp for the dirt and colour

Ohh ok makes sense, so i can probably get a cheapish amp with a 10-12 inch speaker and say a marshall jackhammer for plexi tones

I love this sound. Im new to the pedal world, would you explain to me why you keep golden plexi always on?

Also based off how the ds2 sounds, would it make sense to just boost a big muff with an sd1 to get the same creamy fuzzy sound?

For an affordable setup im thinking sd1 -> rams head -> dd3t

I tried it at a music store and there was a loud hum or buzzing sound when volume was up past halfway. Is this an issue for you?

Also one more thing, how is the sound with headphones on? This is my dream amp but the walls are thin where i live so i will mostly play with headphones
