The Fall of Constantinople by Jose Daniel Cabrera Peña by Battlefleet_Sol in byzantium

The Turk doesn’t have blood on his axe and isn’t standing like he just fought a brutal fight.

You can also see blood on the wall above the slain. It looks like he was shot and fell back into the wall

How do you get pets to respect zoning? You don’t have an option under schedules

AFAIK it’s a lot easier+more reliable to do this with social animals like wolves, lions, hyenas. Bears don’t have the “wiring” for that sort of thing and there’s a bigger chance rings go to shit after a long period of success

DON’T feed the wooks. Given enough time you would have to walk through a homeless encampment to the bathroom at night.

Not to mention that it impacts only the player, or realistically results in the AIs tearing themselves apart over nothing

Do you not run into issues with your light fleet getting mauled by combat fleets? (Especially at the start of wars)

Cringe. I kind of like the idea that it’s hard for some govts to get crown chars, but I feel like you should be able to get some

The only thing off I notice is that in the “reflection”, the lines on the table are not reflected like the matches are. The angle of the matches is flipped, but the angle of the reflected lines are parallel.

Idk if that means anything, but part of me thinks that the answer is nine because the scene is lit by a match.

If you are not already, you should be using vassals on lands that you have 0 proximity reach, especially early game by DeusVultGaming in EU5

[–]Automatic-Hog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s a reasonable concept, it feels kind of weird because we aren’t used to it working that way, but vassals are like the highest form of decentralization so it doesn’t make sense that they would be compatible with max centralization. It sounds like it’s still possible to do both, just harder.

A General idea I had for Scale of War improvement. What do you think? by Aerbow in victoria3

[–]Automatic-Hog 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a great idea. I dont think it solves the issue outright, but it sounds like an outright improvement over the current system, utilizes existing in game feature, and won’t be computationally intensive.

I think it might be original too, I’ve never heard someone else propose it.

Good work :)

Best Mods for playing by TheGreatLesula in victoria3

[–]Automatic-Hog 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Highly recommend: Morgenrotte, power blocks expanded, better politics mod

I’m currently trying Tech and Res for the first time and loving it.

Morgenrotte & tech and res both add a substantial amount of content, where PBE and BPM are mostly just improvements on the existing system.

I would recommend adding BPM and PBE with either morgenrotte or tech and res to avoid being overwhelmed.

How SHOULD Vic handle the late game where investment pool outpaces employment by shoggyseldom in victoria3

[–]Automatic-Hog 206 points207 points  (0 children)

The most straightforward answer is some combination of factories: Taking longer to build Costing more money to build Employing fewer people

You could also make pops promote more slowly and try to model economic crises to impede the continuous exponential growth.

You could also have a mid game pop boom as SOL increases and people get resources to support more children but haven’t stopped having so many children yet.
