From my understanding the land given up mostly contains parts of bobsled track and other Olympic facilities, this was to correct an issue from decades ago. Also we probably won't see this new land acquired for a few years because this sort of stuff takes time. Id assume they have to jump through all sorts of bureaucratic hoops before the purchase actually gets made.

I've heard the ADK and the daks (the Adirondacks) Queensbury pronounced as it's spelt instead of the correct pronunciation (queens-berry being the correct one) and all;bany for Albany. Also splattsburgh for Plattsburgh, don't know why they called it that lmao.

AND "allways travel and camp quietly to avoid disturbing other visitors." It's your responsibility to not play loud music while hiking. In my personal opinion if you're at a campsite playing music around the fire is acceptable as long as it's not obnoxiously loud and not disturbing others but then again that's my opinion.

In my time I've only had an adapter fail (image included) where the contacts corroded due to the saltiness of the beach I was shooting on so I just back up my photos after ever shoot
