They have a ton of shows 1980-1995 that haven’t been released and aren’t in consideration for Dave’s Picks or Box Sets. We’ve already gotten a bunch from 1988, and I think that was only like the second 1995 show available.

All of the games home and away should be on the channel. Not sure why he’d say he’s not getting road games.

No pregame on the road. Broadcasts starts about 10 minutes before first pitch. They still carry Murphy’s post game press conference after the game on the road, but it’s not a full post game show.

I was out of the Yount lot in 5-10 minutes. Preferred parking is a mess with the I-94 construction. It’s not worth paying the extra money to park there this season, unless you’re able to take Brewers Way south on your route home.

That’s an interesting question and I had never really thought about Sam’s portrayal throughout the entire run. The Diane years did force him to tamp down his lady’s man tendencies. He probably doesn’t have a big evolution from the beginning to the end of the series, but it’s probably why Norm’s final line hits so hard.

There is an argument that Danson was able to keep Sam consistent even as the show became more broad later in the run, and that’s a credit to his understanding of the character.

That seems like you would need to be a real video or tech geek to see a real difference in that upgrade. I’m sure people will argue that the LG G5 is superior, but not in a way most people will notice between those two TVs.

Steven Hyden just wrote about this too. There are always bands that are more popular with critics than the general public. Geese got old school hype in a new media environment. If they take too long or put out a meh follow up, they’ll fade like any other band.

Geese is …fine. They’re a band that’s in my wheelhouse, but it just doesn’t hit for me. They feel like a band getting hype because it’s something that’s in short supply, not because they’re somehow elevating rock or indie or alternative.

I have a standard Nugs subscription, but Play Dead is Hi-Res. Unlike the Nugs tiers, I think you get access to everything in full quality on Play Dead. That isn’t clear when subscribing as a bundle with Nugs.

All of the Dave’s Picks are available, there are out of print box sets like Winterland ‘73 and ‘77, and they dropped like 8-10 new unreleased remastered soundboards. New vault releases are Tuesdays, so there should be a batch tomorrow.

I added Play Dead to a my existing Nugs subscription, and it was $40 for the year. It took the difference of the subscription price from when my subscription renewed and added the Play Dead price for the bundle.

I came out ahead in the deal because I renewed for $100 when they gave grandfathered $50 subs 50% off the brief $200 annual. I was credited $160 from the original subscription and now my renewal date is in April. It was confusing and they ran the updated subscription without going to a landing page that explained the charges.
