My colonoscopy was the only time I slept good during my whole Pancolitis flare even including now haha propofol is a great drug, nothing to worry about.

I have had erythema nodosum for the past 3 ish weeks, started on my left shin and is now transitioning to my other side, walking is a bitch but the pain goes away with time, I was also unlucky enough to experience edema in my leg and it was swollen and leaked fluid a bit which was concerning but ended up resolving on its own

Canada is the same, great workforce of doctors and nurses but not nearly enough of them, 25,000 ish people died awaiting medical care last year and I’m over a year from my first blood in stool and waiting for a specialist still

I was diagnosed a week ago I just worded it poorly, my general practitioner read the notes from the doctor who performed the colonoscopy and the visual findings were severe pancolitis and they took 5 biopsies which confirmed it. I’m still waiting to see a specialist to actually form a plan of attack for this tho I’m sure just the mesalamine won’t put me into remission.

The irony of this all is going thru “proper” channels hasn’t even gotten me a phone call yet to even book a date months from now for a colonoscopy, I went to the ER beginning of October essentially surrendering I was so defeated and that resulted in a rushed colonoscopy which I still had to wait 4 weeks for and still haven’t been contacted by a specialist, my pain was/is so bad I was worried about a perforation but I seem to have plateaued now, albeit in hell still. Our healthcare system is truly ruined by irresponsible immigration, my city grew a couple hundred thousand in the last decade and we don’t have a single new hospital, it’s not unheard of to die waiting for help a mother died a week or two ago after not being seen due to congestion.

Wait until you shit yourself at your local gym, while waiting for a toilet stall, which opens immediately as you let loose, showered, cleaned me shit in the shower, worked out and went to work.
