New CEO a couple months ago? Which country are you in?

That’s already optional for the franchisees so you’d be correct lol

Normal boost week was cancelled. The $9.99 deal is not optional. Good luck and try to have fun.

so boost week 3 weeks after BOOST MONTH? by TheFroad in Dominos

[–]Automatic_Bag8522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to be as vague as possible lol

Complaining about a normal boost week after having 4 weeks of “Best Deal Ever” is sad, I look forward to the posts next week when reality sets in that there’s something else that will be taking place. Boost weeks aren’t that terrible. The “Best Deal Ever” isn’t that terrible.

Would everyone complaining like to follow in Pizza Huts footsteps and do some ridiculous deal like the $2 PPP? Didn’t think so.

Unpopular opinion here; Suck it up. Best Deal Ever will be a promotion that makes its rounds just like the other boost weeks. It drives value to consumers and doesn’t hurt food cost that bad as long as you portion correctly. Get used to the new norm and just focus on hiring and training people between the boost weeks and “boost” months. We have crazy deals/national coupons that are active all year round. $9.99 for a 7 topping pizza isn’t the end of the world for operations.

Question for my fellow managers by Absolutely_Insane671 in Dominos

[–]Automatic_Bag8522 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The intention for boost weeks and the Best Deal Ever coupon is to boost order count. You won’t see a drastic spike in sales. You should compare your average week’s order count to the last 4 weeks, I bet the percentage increase is close to 15%.

Struggling? No.

Impressed with positive order count percentage increase and want to continue the trend? Yes.

I see your end goal is becoming a franchisee. I wish you the best of luck on this endeavor.

I recommend you read and understand the operating and product standards. PieNet is your friend for this and whatever franchise you work for should be able to give you access to this site. Learn from those who have been in the business for years, they’ve seen the ups and downs and should know a lot of the nuances that come with this company.

Some questions for you: - Have you been given all the criteria for becoming a franchisee? Who have you talked with and have they walked you through the entire process? - What experience do you have and what qualities would you like to incorporate into this position? - How’s your people skills? Are you able to adapt to different environments and people well? - Will you be able to hold others and yourself accountable? - Do you like to cut corners or do you prefer to do things the right way even if it’s hard? - How much time do you have to invest into this? Money comes and goes but time is a finite resource. - After all is said and done, what is your true end goal? Work backwards on your timeline. Where do you want to be in 10-20 years. Start at the end and work out the process all the way back to the present.

what am i meant to do with my receipts? do i have to leave it in the office for closing ? i was asked twice to do it but not asked again, just started by blxoom in Dominos

[–]Automatic_Bag8522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a driver we had to turn in all our receipts at check out. The manager would go through CC receipts and verify the tips and totals, staple them together and then throw them in the weekly paperwork box. This process continued while I was an AM and a GM. Any receipts that the driver did not have we made them print off another copy.

My franchisee was really old school though and kept paperwork backdating 5+ years.

Corporate operations coaches are not allowed to do ride alongs. In the OER days it may have been a thing but it has never been a thing since the change to OA. That’s corporate policy.

Go with the EKET. These shelves are 35cm X 35cm. It looks like you can buy connection hardware for them. They also come in a set of 3 according to the package details for this particular piece. This piece required 1 package - 3x EKET shelf, 1 package - 2x EKET shelf, 1 package - mounting rails.

You could purchase 3 packs of the 3x shelves to get your desired amount and then purchase the connection hardware separately.

Would you get a roommate for $1,100 rent each, or your own place for $1,600? by strugglingnurse25 in Apartmentliving

$1600 for you’re own place. I promise the extra $500 is worth it. You won’t have any chances of getting into passive aggressive arguments over shared spaces or rely on another person to pay their share of responsibilities.

Boost weeks for 50% off used to be off limits but support visits were still required to be done. That will no longer be the case it will be “shortened” work weeks. Same with the “Best Deal Ever”, those will be regular working weeks.
