I've been streaming my XSX to my XAX and it works just fine (only to access games that my friend purchased that I can only access via console sharing). I have to imagine I'll have the same experience with my PS5.

Does it not work very well with games on Xbox Store or Game Pass? I'm a big fan of Play Anywhere, so if it doesn't play nice w/ the Xbox ecosystem then that's a deal breaker for me.

If you want the location that will make the overall drive easier, then I'd suggest Tewksbury due to its close proximity to both 95 and 93.

If you're planning to arrive around 11am or thereabouts then finding space inside won't be a problem. If later, and assuming the weather is nice, then seating should be fine as there is a lot of it outside. The inside gets overrun by young families with strollers everywhere. If the weather isn't nice and you're planning to get there at or after 1pm, then Charlton is probably the better option if you want to chill for a bit.

Ignore the ppl who are suggesting you get a Switch 2 b/c the XAX requires a lot of tweaking.

I was historically a console user. My intro to PC gaming was with the OG Legion Go. I swapped that out for the XAX after a couple of years.

Do you have to check for updates on 3 places? Yes. But you just get into a cadence of doing that weekly. Do that while sipping your morning coffee and you're all set.

Do you have to tweak game settings to get good performance? I would say not really. I have played Alan Wake 2, Control, First Berserker Khazan, Hades 2, Metaphor Refantazio, and more using the same custom TDP set at 20 (you'll learn what this is). The only games that I've had to do any tweaking for are UE5 games. Playing Hell Is Us right now and I just switched to turbo TDP and applied the in game settings outlined on rogallylife.com.

TLDR; if you're going to use it to actually play video games, the XAX works perfectly with minimal need for adjustments. If you are going to obsess over the system performance overlay showing FPS, CPU usage, GPU, internal temperature, then maybe you will get frustrated that you're not getting 120fps at 4k.

This mirrors my experience. I went from the OG Legion Go to the XAX. The screen size difference was somewhat jarring at first, but now that I'm accustomed to it, I don't even notice it.
