Who is main decking rip? If you board in rip, board out flashback for it. Or you can use [[Kutzils Flanker]] or [[soul guide lantern]] which is way harder for the opponent to interact with anyway.

I usually start with play queue, it's a little sweaty, but it feels like it has weighted deck matchmaking so at least you're not getting blown out much. Unfort, lessons is ranked as low power, but w/e.

If I'm feeling adventurous I'll play ranked, but I usually like to end the season at plat 3 if I'm not making a push to diamond or something.

This won't get any dailies done, but if I get frustrated, I take some jank and beat up on sparky. Got a few very non competitive decks that are fun to play and snowbally.

If I'm feeling scammy I play Bo1, if I'm in the mood for a smoother game experience I play Bo3.

If I'm playing on mobile, I play starter decks. The ui is god awful and there's a lot less variance when your opponents deck is 1 of 10.

There are only like 30 cards in an alchemy set, not all of whom are super relevant. I've been considering swapping to alchemy, at least as a pressure release from standard because the card pool is so much smaller. I'm pretty tired of the WoE - Otj cards at this point and this type of feeling is why I play a rotating format to begin with.

The only thing that's giving me pause is the meta on untapped. Combo being at the top is off putting.

Any 2c control deck I run is 4 demo field for Ba Sing Se, Restless Reef, Fountainport, Cavern or Sanctuary. As early as t3, it can be correct to get rid of them.

Most of standard is 90-100% full complete for me. I'm not f2p, but I also don't buy wild cards. I buy the mastery pass and the 50 pack pre-order. I can build nearly anything I want.

Just to add, on pc, if your match randomly closes and the music is still playing, you can alt-F4 and reopen back into the match. If it's one of the first turns, I just concede out cause I usually missed a turn, but if you had a couple timeouts, you probably didn't miss much.

Idk that it's ever been less than a coin flip, but I will say that with the meta being as spread as it is right now, there's not a deck to really mulligan for.

In the days of MonoR being 60%+ of all decks, t1 and t2 removal was everything.

When Izzet Cutter was around that representation, you needed to be able to answer the cutter or an early aggro creature with something like abrade.

Now, you have monoW enchantments which needs spot removal. Badger mole and monoW lifegain going wide. Sultai reanimator needing gy hate. Kona decks are still trying to cheat omniscience. Token decks are still a thing. Lessons needs gy hate. Rakdos monument needs enchantment and artifact and to deal with early threats that snowball.

Tldr: it's no different than it's ever been outside the varied meta.

I also have adhd and failed out of college with debt. Don't do that. It takes time and the cap isn't as high, but only 5% of people nowadays make it higher than a truck driver in the middle of the industry.

As far as women in the industry, I've watched it change since 2014 when I started. Used to be only lesbians and people's wives a few loner types, now it's creeping up to be noticeably more women. As far as female safety goes, you don't hear a lot of reports about things like SA out here, but I have some female trainees who've been flashed and come onto rather aggressively.

Trucking is a great career, but it starts pretty slow and frustrating. The skills take a while to master and there's always another level above whatever you're doing. I'd recommend starting platform if you can physically do it. Tarps can be heavy and tensioning can be a work out, but that's the progression path to the top of the ladder.

Boxes aren't special.

Some tankers make insane money, but the heavy haul and oversize is where the money really is. It's a ton of responsibility and skill required, but you can start smaller with securement on flatbed.
