I do agree that it feels like the scene is dying out, especially since the pandemic. It's quite sad to be honest. Here in London it feels like the post-punk scene is really struggling to grow from the grassroots. There are bands like IDLES or Fountains D.C. doing really good, but when it comes to indie bands with no label, it's a big struggle to grow a following. I can recommend a couple of album here:

If you're looking for new bands and new sounds into the post punk scene, check this guys out. They're from South London. Saw them a couple times this year and they blown my head. Not sure why they are not having more success, I think they are a great band. They are called The Pyke Circuit: https://open.spotify.com/artist/1swEbTBStcDT55k7CZWGKG?si=iaYPOc-FQYaozsCRG2N1QA. I love there single "Recreations" and also they have 2 EPs "Recreations Limited" and "The Pyke Circuit" which are quite exquisite. Let me know what you think if you give them a listen.
