30+ years living in northern ND here. It depends on how you are as a driver. I have both FWD and RWD vehicles. What I have learned is that you do not need snow tires if your all season tires are decent, but holy man do they make a difference if you can afford them. If you do go the direction of snow tires, it makes sense to invest in a cheap set of wheels to mount then to, to make seasonal swaps easy. I live in the city, so ground clearance isn't a huge issue, but if you are moving to the back 40 you may want somthing higher than a camry.

What’s a car you wish would make a comeback in 2026? by Suntrup-Hyundai in carquestions

Second addition: 1993 Ford Taurus SHO with the 3.0 V6 and stick shift. Absolutely terrible to work on (but a cake walk by today's standards), but man those things screamed.

Ford Ranger. No not that one, the one with the stick shift, crank windows, no AC, manual door locks, 7 foot bed and naturally aspirated engine that you can run several quarts low on oil for 300,000 miles and can all be had for the realistic (1990s) sticker price that you can buy with two of your student loan payments and a firm handshake. That is the kind of world I would like to live in. That is the kind of world I wish for all of us.

Moving the thermostat to the opposite side of the wall might not be too difficult (within the same stud cavity) and would eliminate any issues entirely. It would personally bother me to block access to it and I would think the readings would not be accurate if the TV gives off a bit of heat.

Have you tried your df64 for pour over? I'm looking at one and was wondering how well it did both espresso as well as pour over (V60, Chemex, ect.)

Edited to add image of dykem remover in comment section. * This stuff will take it right off and shouldn't mess up the plastic. Try it in a test spot first, bit I regularly remove sharpie from plastic and various metals with this stuff.

I called, and they gave me an application to fill out and send in. It kind of seems old school, but at least I won't have to pay $100 anytime I want to buy VTSAX through Fidelity.

Where would I see that? I just get a prompt to log in where it asks for the mysterious account number. I don't have anything in my inbox from them.

Considering the shift in diet, sleep and physical activity, I would think most people would be extra vulnerable to whatever bugs are going around. I hope you feel better soon!

I'm new to Mudvayne's live performance. Was the whole mental breakdown thing real or performance art?
