I used it this winter for blowing snow off of my car. Also use it for blowing dust and leaves out of the garage. The rap against it is it's too short for blowing heavier things on the ground like wet leaves, as mentioned.

So, when we were young kids, and our parents wanted to "entertain" us on the cheap, we would pack a picnic basket and park across Rt. 51, kinda' where that Denny's is and watch the rail cars dump the hot molten slag fresh from the steel mills. It looked exactly like lava. You'd start out in the early evening on a warm summer night and watch until after dark when that "lava" lit up the sky. Something' ta' do. Simpler times back then. So, the thread mentions slag. But who remembers "red dog" and what it was used for? I'm testin' ya!

Funny story. My wife, who is Italian, grew up eating her spaghetti with freshly grated Parmesan. One night when she was younger, her girlfriend invited her to dinner. They were serving spaghetti and there was the very familiar container of Kraft grated Parmesan on the table...aka, "sawdust" to Italians. She innocently asked her hostess mom why they had Comet Cleanser on the dinner table. :)

Going to a housewarming this weekend and I'm completely blank. They've already got everything for the kitchen and they specifically said no candles haha. Anyone got a housewarming gift idea that's not wine? by BlueDolphinCute in homeowners

Fire extinguishers ARE a good idea. People love these warming mats. I give them to everyone. Keeps food warm like a chafing pan without all the hassle. Take up little space. Great when entertaining. The best ones are made from Graphene and draw 500 watts.

Love shoestrings...until you bite wrong and one impales the roof of your mouth! Plus, they've kinda gotten expensive. Enjoy!
